Captain's First AKC Obedience Trial - Novice A

I've been competing in agility the last two years, but my first obedience trial is this weekend. I'm entering my Border Collie. I think he's ready, he's pretty solid under distraction. I have to watch my body language, my turns, and make sure I wait for the judge's queues. :)

Great try on this, Captain will gain focus quickly I'm sure. I have a GSD as well who will be competing, great dogs! Best of luck to you & Captain!

Dogs hate their first time indoors! I had a gsd who averaged 194 in his career who earned a 183 in his first trial. Captain will get much better.

I imagine this is how my Berners first performance will look....yikes!

Trust me, it was still a better performance than many of us had our first time in Nov. A -- don't be too hard on yourself!
