Matt, Leigh, Justin & the rest are more kick-back this go-around so fortunately they're here to stay until Matt & Leigh are old, gray & crotchety!

This song is about the band's angst over SPNtR's sad legacy of suffering record label problems. These 2004, CREATION FEST performances uploaded by Violettero were off the 2004 album, DIVINE DISCONTENT. Problem was it took several years to get the album into production...same problem plagued Sixpence after their first album. So they're a bit tired of it all, and Leigh, who's early into her pregnancy here, will drive the band's disollution a few months later. But since '07, they're back!

Sixpence is great, and Anything! is such an amazing song, i just discovered it and i fell in love with it rightaway. If i've been there i'd have been loudly singing it.

I'm not too sure. It was multiple acts, so they more than likely didn't realize who Sixpence were until they sang Kiss Me. It's really sad. Sixpence is up there singing all of these great songs and no one is singing along.

It's pathetic that the crowd doesn't now the lyrics. Track 2, self-titled album. What's even sadder is that she had to sing "Kiss Me" for anyone to recognize who she/the band were. Sixpence deserves better than that. Had I been there, I would have been up front singing along. I still wish that I can see them live. Hopwfully, I will someday.

The concert is CREATION FEST, held in Pennsylvania...was likely either '03 or '04, just before the band's breakup. Leigh's also still wearing her wedding rings...she divorced in 2007, and Matt's not wearing a ring (he married in 2007). Also, Matt, Leigh & Justin (the bassist) are the only returning band members now that SPNtR has re-formed.

I asked the same q about where/when this video was recorded. An ex SPNtR band member replied to me ~ 2 mos ago. He thought the venue was 'Creation Fest'. However, I don't know exactly when it was recorded, but would have to have been after Dale Baker's '02 departure & b/4 the band's '04 breakup.

What a massive crowd, huh!? 'gotta be well over 100K present. Superb performance.
