I think to say that is a litlle harsh... I agree the BDO needs to shape up or shove off but i dont think its fair to slate Adams or any other BDO Player. To win the BDO title you still gotta be a good player. But to win the PDC Title you have to be a top player

Well said. That’s why JP’s one of my favourites because he was never in awe of Taylor and he played his own game. Due to Taylor’s brilliance some players would be beaten before they’d even thrown a dart and when they did somewhat unexpectedly lead they would start to panic and struggle to see the game out. Like the Painter world final for example.

Not the "PDC trebles are bigger" play again. Any difference is less than 0.1mm (especially since the Blade 4) depending on the individual board which when you factor in they're standing from 7ft 9 the difference is null.

Anyway, doesn't take anything away from Parts achievement. Really hope he finds his best darts consistently. He is quality.

The BDO have the same size trebles etc now that the PDC have, it 's been that way the past year

@9HomerSimpson9 not true mate, the Blade 4 is bigger than the blade 3 yes but unlike the Unicorn board it falls within WDF regualtion. The boards used by the PDC are much larger trebles for higher scoring and fail to meet the WDF regulation meaning that these boards would be illegal in the BDO. PDC mislead their fans a little with this i feel.

the only thing that takes anything away from this nine-darter is the fact its achieved on trebles which are unregualted. This is an area the PDC need to address quickly as it is ruining the intergity of the sport.

John Part is such a legend.. to come back from 7-2 down and get a nine darter and get the game to 8-7 hes a class player who deserves alot more recognision and i believe he will be a big threat in the other major events
