  • Oh man thats sad. I played tuba side by side with Paul at Berklee. What a great guy , and dedicated musician. Farewell to a tuba players tuba player.

  • Thank you so much for posting both of these vidoes!! I literally just picked up the BC Magazine and read that Paul passed away in January of this year. What a sad shame! He was my roommate in college for two years and I visited his family in Pasadena back in 1986-87. I remember how supportive and friendly his family was. I looked forward to you posting more videos of Paul and his Band. May he rest in peace and his music live on!!!

  • What a nice tribute to a genuinely good person! I first met Paul in the mid 1970's. We went to Junior High and High School together and we went to the same church,(I was a couple years ahead of him), and he and I and some other friends had a cover band way back then. Thank you for bringing back those memories. RIP Paul!

  • It felt really good to see Paul play the tuba. So many times as a musician we feel like we aren't doing the right thing but seeing Paul and hearing him made me feel really good to be a musician. He had a lovely tone on the horn. I am very glad he stuck with it and also glad you made this film. Dedication and love to the craft is what makes it all work and Paul was a beautiful cat.
