They're all worth watching, the only ones that are more likely to not be enjoyed by your average viewers are the SD series due to their very comical nature. While Wing remains my favourite, it shares the spot with 0079, 08th MS, 0080, Stardust, Zeta, ZZ, Turn-A, Unicorn, Victory, X, Stargazer and G Gundam.

Zeta gundam is actually a really dark serious intense show. just cause the're old doesn't mean the're bad :p also check out 8th ms team which shows gorilla warfare in the jungle and 0080 which shows you the "bad guys" view

Gundam Wing is my top favorite anime of all time. G Gundam is my second favorite, followed by both stages of Vandread and Elfen Lied. It's a shame Gundam Wing isn't on tv anymore :( it's a classic . I wish there was a channel on tv that's dedicated to old school anime like Gundam Wing and anime of the early 2000s.

The first Gundam was actually Mobile Suit Gundam (Which is currently celebrating it's 30th anniversary). However, G Gundam is the first Gundam series set in an alternate continuity other than that of MSG and it's sequels and spinoffs (Which are called "Universal Century").
