  • Wow, how obvious of a probama slant!? Rand wants to offer info to people, and this reporter is being told in his ear not to let him get it out. So Osama, I mean Obama can say he's trying, later to fleece his procorporate, probankster games Osama plays. Obama.lol

  • Lemon is annoying.

  • I wish that Lemon would speak to Obama or Bush that way....asshole. He doesn't have time for thoughtful answers because they gotta go to commercial every 6 minutes.

  • "are you feeling that in washington right now?"

"with all due respect, do you feel the public sentiment in washington"?

"with all due respect, i'm asking you if you feel how the public feels? you don't have to tell me what you did, but are you feeling? do you understand how people feel about this?"

"so you are feeling? you are hearing the american people you feel?"

  • Don is not wrong... he wont answwer the questions he is asked.. I really dont get these comments below>.<

  • @nevorchi don is gay black and liberal, aka republican kryptonite.

  • Black This Out

    Money Bomb

    Ron Paul

    October 19th!

  • hahaha don lemon only understands the words yes and no....what an idiot lol

  • The last minute was hilarious.

  • I bet this guy wouldn't be interrupting his brother Obama

  • I just wrote CNN an email expressing my anger with Don Lemon. People take the 5 mins and do the same. If we flood their inbox, they'll listen to the people. The power is always in the people, but only when we unite.

  • @notanotherprepper

This was months ago. Your letter went unnoticed.

  • Dear Don Lemon, fuck off.

    -Love America

  • Don Lemon is a hack

  • No worries Rand Paul... You are right... We the people AGREE! Thank you for being a voice of sense in all the insanity.

  • How can one NOT be a fan of Rand and RON Paul? They are - hands down - the two most HONEST, STRAIGHT FORWARD people in Washington. What you SEE is what you GET. They don't pretend to be something they aren't (the way practically ALL of the other Democrat and Republican plastic people do). What Rand refused to do is play by this media douche-bag's game (and make not mistake about it, the little half-breed shit WAS trying to get Rand to answer his stupid 'Yes/No' questions.

  • You will feel better once you have urinated on Lemon's face !

  • @morrisonwilliam I think the budget can be balanced without austerity by Taxing the rich more...no more extensions to the Bush tax cuts.

  • What a moron Don Lemon is! Unbelievable! And CNN wonders why nobody watches them anymore.

  • Everyone please urinate on Don Lemon's face !!!

  • LOL Rand Paul was right at 4:38 he says that we will be downgraded anyways. AND Don Lemon is an asshole i want urinate on his face. Thumbs up?

  • Please urinate on Don Lemon's face !!!

  • Everyone needs to urinate on Don Lemon !!!

  • Mr. Lemon doesn't speak for me. This is a condescending putz attempting to be relevant. He accomplished this feat by constant interruption, reminding me of a passive aggressive cretin who can't dominate an argument.

  • Don Lemon is a dolt.

  • How about everyone urinate on Don Lemon's face and just be done with it !!!

  • Wow fuck Don lemon.

  • The goal here is to urinate on Don Lemon's face. Now, that would be just plain funny !!!

  • now i remember why no one watches CNN unless they are in an airport....

  • Rand Paul and the Tea Party caused the govt to lose its AAA rating. They also have caused the stock market to crash.

  • @RONPAULFREEDUMB

Economic illiterate.... Recessions are nothing more than a Neccesary market correction

Do you think it would have been good if housing kept going up to this day. Then buying a home would truly make you a slave to your bank.

  • @Salvysahagun the housing bubble is not the cause of the recession...more like outsourcing of jobs combined with slack financial tax loopholes for the wealthy combined with financial deregulation on Wall Street and a lack of government investment to get production and infrastructure modernised with the 21st century.

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

So it had nothing to do with the fact that 70% of subprime mortages where purchased by government institutions or regulatory laws?

Even progressive economist Dean Baker clearly states

"if you don't understand the housing bubble then you don't know whats going on"

Wall Street for the most part has recovered and many stocks are now higher than before the crash.

The people suffering where the ones who where hit by the mortgage crisis.

  • @Salvysahagun haha...yeah...well actually a lot of those people are suffering from fraudulent foreclosures...you can blame a lack of government regulation on that.

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

You have evidence of that or are you just going off what Michael Moore tells you?

If you don't pay your mortgage you get evicted. If you feel defrauded you sue. If you don't have the money to sue then you shouldn't have bought a house in the first place.

  • @Salvysahagun who is michael moore????...

and hahahaha....yep..so you need money to bring criminals to justice...it just sums up the reasoning of these Ron Paul and Rand Paul/ tea party republican reactionary nutjobs.

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

Please don't give me that shit. All Economist who predicted the crash with due time will tell you EXACTLY that Government played the largest role in the Housing bubble. Hell here is a GREAT quote from someone who wanted it to happen.

"Alan Greenspan needs to replace the Nasdaq bubble with a housing bubble" - Paul Krugman 2002.

  • @Salvysahagun im not talking about the housing bubble anymore..im talking about just one example of criminal activity on Wall Street and why there needs to be proper government regualtion....most of these banks cant even prove they own the property and yet they are illegally evicting people..

and just for the record..Greenspan does not work for government..he works for the Fed which is run by Wall street.

  • go to website fightfraudulentforeclosures

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

The website is good however it shows no statistic on how many foreclosures where fraudulent.

Most of these economist that say Wall Street is 100% of the recession where the same economist who didn't see it comming.

  • these banks are fraudulently stealing properties that they do not own./..thats criminal activity and government needs to step in and put these people to jail...now you are telling me you need money to sue these people...I have one thing to say to you .....FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!!!

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

Any statistics to confirm your "schooling" of me.

  • @Salvysahagun yup..its fairy well documented that there are thousands of illegal foreclosures...and there are more issues than just that.

RP and his supporters have dumbed the debate down to "big government"..."little government"..."gold standard"..etc

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

    Where?

What % of all foreclosures where illegal.

Do you really think someone making $65k a year should own a Million dollar house?

  • @Salvysahagun I cant give a percentage because to give a percentage I would have to know what parameters im working within....like do you want me to give you the % of all mortgages of all time!!...or the % fraudulent ones in just a single year?!!...sorry but your question SUCKS and you can go research it yourself because that way you will actually believe it.

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

And I'm telling you fraudulent disclosures did not cause the housing bubble.

  • @Salvysahagun "Do you really think someone making $65k a year should own a Million dollar house?"

thats a completely separate issue to the issue of fraudulent foreclosures.

but if I was a seller then I would not give that dude a mortgage..but in the same token..if I lost the paperwork and ownership of the house and evicted that guy..i would be doing something illegal and that guy should get to keep the house and I should go to jail and pay damages.

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

    To bad that was happening.

It is 100% relevant how many where fraudulent.

If 1% of home defaults where fraudulent then yes those banks should be tried and jailed. but it wasn't the cause of the subprime crisis.

Its like if only 1% of DEATHS in America where MURDERS.

You can't do anything about natural death.

  • @Salvysahagun i did not say the two were linked

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

    You just implied it

  • @Salvysahagun "What % of all foreclosures where illegal."

does it matter anyway...what percentages of blows to the head are murder???...even if its 1% its illegal and wrong and the person doing the crime should go to jail.

  • @Salvysahagun hahaha..another Rand Paul/ Tea Party/ Austrian school retard just got schooled!!!

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

Not a fan of the Austrian School btw.

I respect them and acknolwege there discoveries. while its important to know that subsidies of industries can lead to boom and bust (housing bubble) and the importance of Sound Money.

I adhere to Henry Clays "American System of Economics"

  • @Salvysahagun all you Rand Paul and Ron Paul retards are always going on about people property right...and protecting property right....well you have shown your true colours...you are only interested in the property rights of the wealthy...poor people can fuck off!!!!

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

2/3 of the 400 richest americans are selfmade.

The is NO SUCH THING as t "THE" rich. The top 2% 50 years are a WHOLE new group today. Very few of the same family members even exist.

  • @LandlessPeasantFuck

No because the rich usually don't stay rich forever.

    MC Hammer?

  • If given the chance, would you urinate on Don Lemon's face ?

    I would !!!

  • That interviewer reminds me of a telemarketer who wants you to answer their push poll survey questions just right.

  • Money Bomb!

    August 20th!

    Ron Paul 2012. co m

  • Don Lemon is a tool..

  • This is how new should be. All the time.

  • "As Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality."

    -- George Washington

  • @Shogosan20 Social Security Medicare and Medicaid.. YOU AND I PAY INTO THESE PROGRAMS GO ASK YOU GRANDPARENTS. LETS CUT THE CRAP...PROVE TO ME WHAT ARE dems spending money on what new programs have the Dems created in the Last 30 years....we have had Reagan 2 Bush 1- Clinton 2- Bush 2 twice..what are you talking about prove it.....

  • DON LEMON!!!!!!! ARGH! THE PUBLIC IS FRUSTRATED WITH MEDIA TOOLS, SHILLS, BECAUSE OF IDIOTS LIKE YOU! Quit interrupting and creating theatre out of what should be very straight forward q&a... oh that's right, you're looking for scapegoats and since BHO is the pet black sheep you have to create one out of DOCTOR PAUL. Lemon... you little freak show pimp.

  • Urine and Lemons---that is just too ironic!

  • Wow Don Lemon is retarded

  • Everyone urinate on Don Lemon.

  • Truth Sledge blog (truth sledge dot com) has been all over Don Lemon.

  • Thumbs up if you wanna urinate on Don Lemon's face

  • It would be nice to urinate on Don Lemon's face !!!

  • Interviewer clearly has an agenda.

  • Interviewers a douchebag. They're really trying to paint the tea party as the bad guys in all this. Requiring a balanced budget is not a stretch. It should be mandatory.

  • 4:49-4:52, "we are struggling in our economy, we have an economy that's barely growing" So of course that rethuglican-controlled congress is hard at work trying to create jobs.(facepalm at these neocons)

  • Ya'll keep goin on about "deregulation", What party was in majority when Graham,Leech, Bailey passed, how the fuck do you think it became law? Bush had his party in majority from jan.20 2001-jan.2007, he shoulda got in "The Bully Pulpit" and kept pressure on Barney Frank and Chris Dodd to reform Fannie and Freddie, fact is he never intended to regulate the housing market, Bush spent all his time war mongering to the tune of trillions of dollars. As for Libya, how many troops are there? Zero

  • Defication upon the Don Lemons of the world is bliss !!!

  • You have heard the term“A fool and his money are easily parted”well, we are all witnessing either through design,or absolute ignorance, the fleecing of America. Utterly insane!A reign of thieves has been unleashed upon America, allowed by a lip flapping governing body. America is entering into a kleptocratic state, very little productivity, and a extreme loss of wealth, with no accountability. Our Government has been hijacked by a extremely wealthy international class, called the OneWorldOrder!

  • END CIRCUMCISION AND MASTURBATION!

  • Donnie Boy would never treat Pelosi, Reid, or Obama this way. K-rist! Talking points is all you hear from those pinheads. Lemonhead comes off as a petulant effete liberal looking to make a name for himself at the expense of a sincere Tea Party member.

  • I would punch don lemon so hard in the fucken face

  • Im not a huge fan of Rand Paul but this Don Lemon guy should be fired over the disrespect he showed his guest in this interview.

  • If you keep advocating all tax cuts with no raising of taxes or eliminating the tax cuts altogether, where will the money come from for the government to pay its bills and debt? You have to have a source of revenue. If you keep giving tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans who can afford to pay more, then who will suffer? The middle class and lower classes, that's who! They couldn't even agree on a combination of both. Spending does need to be reduced also, the only point I agree with Mr. Paul on.

  • He doesn't trust the institution to abide by it's rules? I guess he doesn't trust the constitution or the fact that the American economy and worldwide influence is at stake. These tea party taking bashes at the current administration need to focus that energy on getting the legislation and bills passed that the country needs to thrive and to compete with other countries. Innovation is key, and if those who want to preserve the status quo get in power, innovation will suffer; we will fail.

  • this interviewer makes me cringe

  • and what's the deal, you have to be gay to be in the media now? No offense to gay people but wtf, how is that representative? the commies and fascists are taking turns on us...

  • @rgs11 One gay reporter doesn't constitute all of the media. Come on dude! Geesh...

  • that cnn douchebag was a douchebag.

"Again... again Mr. Paul, with all do respect, alright... I... am a... (wait for it...) douchebag..."

  • Lemons' just another media whore. He once said about dhs: if u want to be safe, you have to give up some freedoms. CNN just carries the water for these globalists.

  • This is why I don't listen to CNN as much anymore. They have a specific agenda instead of letting all the facts be known so the viewer can decide. Rand Paul was laying out the history of events so the viewer could understand the sequence and the reasoning. Mr. Lemon cared not to hear what he had to say. I'm thinking he may of not been able to follow. He needs to do his homework and have an intelligent interview without a goal of making his interviewee sound stupid. It backfired.

  • Fuck the United States, fuck the Jews, the Jews are a criminal people, they mutilate their children, they are murderous, criminal, thieving, lying, bastards. They made up the Holocaust, there's not a word of truth to it. They are the worst liars and bastards. And now, what goes around, comes around, they're getting it back, finally. Praise God... Hallelujah, this is a wonderful day. Fuck the United States. Cry, you crybabies! Whine, you bastards! Now your time is coming!

  • As Christians we must band together and pray for God's love and guidance to stand firm against this kind of evil and hate. Satan is at work in the world as you can see.

  • @Bboop4444plus Circumcision is the real problem. Muslims and Americans are also circumcised.

  • Damn! since when did the media become the inquisition around here!? Its like he's on trial or something...

  • You all need to clean the jizz out of your pants and realize Rand Paul is not on your side. He is a politician.

  • @jareth2472 too bad your mom didn't clean the jizz out of her ass... x)

  • Around 3.40-4.00 I dont think he is a jerk but I do think things did get a little sketchy.

  • Idiot. Based on the last 10 seconds of the vid, are we to understand that Mr. Lemon voted in Kentucky?

  • Okay, Don Lemon may have gone a little far here in terms of interrupting Paul's answers. But the job of journalists is not to be polite to politicians. It is in fact quite the opposite, to hold them accountable and to get to the truth. Every major news network now would rather have "access" than do any real reporting that might make somebody mad. That's a bad trend for journalism in a democracy.

  • Don's a poo pusher!

  • Don Lemon, is a fucking bitch....

  • SCREW DON LEMON

  • The interviewer refers to "the public" like he is above it

  • @thejohnmalkovich

Monetary inflation raises the cost of everything. That includes the cost of labor as well. The costs of goods &services go up. But wages will increase along with them. Until the last few years wages have increased faster than inflation because technology increased productivity. The last few years, however, outsourcing, H1B visas &immigration increased the labor supply which is eroding wages.

Summary: Inflation pushes wages up. Increasing labor supply pushes wages down.

  • @thejohnmalkovich

I don't think our disagreement is about values. We have similar values. Our disagreement has to do with an understanding of economics. Don't misunderstand. It's not about intelligence. It's just that economics is difficult for most people to understand because actions often lead to different results from what one would normally expect. Economics is a way of thinking about things that doesn't come naturally for most people.

  • Comment removed

  • @thejohnmalkovich

Minimum wage laws are the most anti-poor, discriminatory laws on the books today. This is a video of Nobel prize winning economist Milton Friedman explaining how the minimum wage law really works.

    /watch?v=ca8Z__o52sk

  • @thejohnmalkovich

Most economists would agree that prices and labor costs are directly related. If you're going to say otherwise then you need to explain how you came to that conclusion.

  • @thejohnmalkovich

You don't know me. If we had a "who grew up poorer" contest you would lose. I also view society as an organism. I don't consider "Big Money" innocent. Anyone will manipulate the system if given the chance. That's why the system should be as free as possible. And it can't be free if the government is micromanaging it. Because "Big Money" will just use the government to micromanage according to their own interests.

  • I am now running FROM the two party dictatorship and voting for a moral person that follows the constitution, bill of rights, balanced budget, less government, & free market. This clown from CNN is under orders from the enemy! Kick the bankers & lobbyists out now!

  • @DonkeyKongPacMan That would be Ron Paul. He's an independant running as a Republican cause he knows thats his only chance. He has NEVER voted for anything against the consitution and you can check his voting record. Don't listen to the news. Spread the word. RON PAUL 2012

  • This interviewer is such a jerk.

  • @irvinehouse

grow up. Don Lemon was very fair- he is just coming from a different perspective... i will never understand why people who don't line up with other's political issues get their character attacked.. makes NO sense... i'm a huge Ron Paul supporter- but Don Lemon is one of the few people on CNN who will hold politician's feet to the fire and thats EXACTLY what we need more of in the media... maybe then politicians wouldn't be as corrupt.

  • @df61660a

I'd say we'd have to agree to disagree. I didn't find Don Lemon fair. I thought his interview technique was counter productive & not informative

However,I find it ironic your comment when you didn't line up with my perspective is "Grow up!" You're comment is just the character attack that you claim to dislike. BTW, I didn't take offense. I just found it ironic. I think that's like the pot calling the kettle black.

  • @irvinehouse The interviewer is doing his damn job. He;s probably the only person on CNN that is.

  • @thejohnmalkovich It's the government's own regulations that have resulted in this problem. It isn't at outgrowth of a truly free market. It's an outgrowth of corporatism. Government and business forming partnerships is corporatism, not free markets. We must strip government of the power to hand out mandates that benefit certain firms, public-private partnerships, regulations that create barriers to entry, subsidies, etc. Those things are a big source of the problem.

  • @joepeeler34

    Speaking of corporatism...

"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolin

  • TEA Party -> Terrorists Endemic to America

  • @MoralMoney Aw, come on and get with the program. Terrorists is so yesterday. Today's talking point is the New Mafia.

  • @mcv47 You know, I hope you're young enough to see some day that these are very real criticisms, but that's unlikely considering the Terrorists Endemic to America. They're some old extremists. BTW, "talking points" is getting extremely cliche. Learn a different catch phrase.

  • @MoralMoney Condescension - it's what's for breakfast.

  • @mcv47 Well, we know you're not having knowledge for breakfast. The thing that pisses me off the most is seeing the age of the Terrorists Endemic to America, you know that most of them receive Medicare and Social Security. So, here's something every Terrorists should know but doesn't: what are the 3 largest components of Federal spending? And, how has the top tax rate changed from the 40s, the 60s, the 80s, to the 00s? Ignorance is bliss, eh?

  • @thejohnmalkovich

Inflation has eroded the value of the dollar. But inflation isn't the reason people are getting less and less for their work. The general trend until recently has been for wages to rise faster than inflation. That's not the case now because outsourcing, H1B visas and illegal immigration have artificially increased the labor supply. The solution is terminate H1B visas, enforce immigration laws and add a 25% tariff to Chinese imports because they manipulate their currency.

  • @thejohnmalkovich

Supply and demand in a FREE MARKET does ensure fairness. Monopolies, non voluntary unions and minimum wage laws violate a FREE MARKET. They are unfair practices.

  • @thejohnmalkovich

You do realize that prices and labor costs are directly related right? Do you want to pay people $100/hr &sell a Mercedes for $5K? That sounds ridiculous but its the same principle as paying someone $40/hr and selling Mercedes for $25K. No company can stay in business by paying employees more than their worth or selling products for less than it costs to make. If you think you're not treated fairly then get a different job. Or better yet -- start your own company.

  • @thejohnmalkovich

That actually happened to me. In Q1 of 2000, I lost 500K because P&G missed earnings. But part of it was that their CEO misrepresented the company outlook on a conference call. When they reported for the quarter the stock was cut in half. Meh. So what if he lied? I should have caught it myself. With that much money on the table its my own fault for not going through the numbers with a fine toothed comb.

  • On another note, I have tried to add this same response to other clips and as soon as I have the have been removed straight away... Democracy and freedom in action :(

  • How is asking for a balance budget etc. over reaching??? Don Lemon should be ashamed of him self! However, this is what he gets paid for i.e. stopping people from offering sensible and realistic views to help the economy and the country. BTW, I live in the UK and I would love both the Paul's to represent my community. Congrats to Rand for keeping his composure...that must be the sign of a terrorist haha

  • lemon is a dickhead.

  • If you believe that Lemon is a loose cannon or a rogue reporter... he's doing what his bosses are telling him to do. CNN isn't trying to inform the public... they're trying to steer the debate by harassing and bullying an non-Establishment Congressman. I've had enough and dumped CNN. Won't be tuning into their garbage anymore.

  • If CNN was smart enough to finally dump Rick Sanchez, dandy Don should not be far behind.

  • This entire interview was just an attempt to make the T-Party look like a villain.

This is the directive of the liberal agenda now to attack the T-party. The T-party is their biggest threat to re-election and they are determined to deface them.

  • Don is a dush bag. How come he does not interview dems like that!! What a hog wash.

  • Incredibly biased, dishonest interview. Not to mention rude!

In fact it shouldn't be called an interview - this CNN specimen had a political point to prove and he simply used Sen. Paul as a pincushion in order to prove it.

    What a scam!

  • @thejohnmalkovich

First, wages should be determined by supply and demand. Second, two people making minimum wage earn more than enough to pay for an apartment if they share the expenses. And, third, it's not my problem.

  • Good for Rand Paul for being a gentleman and TRYING to answer the questions while being interrupted continuously. The media is afraid of honesty and morals.

  • CNN your leftist agenda is so glaringly obvious and has ruined your ratings. Go suck (another) dick Lemon.

  • im a liberal but these dr milking these old ppl 's medicare sikins me they force her into all these unnessary treatment she doesn need so we decline and we r public enemy no.1 at that place so im glad tp drop med reimbur by 10%. by the way fuk the tea party and rep

  • Lemon is a freaking jackass.

  • And people still think there is no liberal bias in the media? I'd have walked off that interview before it even started

  • @aarondhunter pseudo-intellectual asswipes live in fear of everything because their thinking process is steered by fearful (and thus hateful) feelings. Obama and his ilk are hateful, war-mongering, parasites on the body of America. It is their fear and paranoia that has driven this country into economic disaster. War against "terrorists" and War against drugs is what has ruined this country.

  • F#CK DON LEMON

  • what a dickk!.. don lemon

  • Don Lemon is a fucking Fag, that's why he likes sweaty man ass. No offense to people who like sweaty man ass, but Don Is punk ass bitch. Excuse my french.

  • @DarkFrostX5 All the queer homo fag freaks can got to hell. They are a minority. And a small one. The politically correc
