While I am intimately familiar with the RCC, you are absolutely correct that it is not my understanding (or perceived lack thereof) which makes it pagan. It is its own history and operation against Scripture and the God who inspired it which makes the RCC pagan. The RCC is pagan for no other reason than that is what it has formed itself to be.
@Ainesis3 3 questions. How are you "intimately familiar with the Catholic church. Do you have proof for your accusations? How does it operate against scripture?
My knowledge about the RCC as a pagan institution is inconsequential, as you have already established. There are plenty of books and websites which expose the idolatry of that organization, so feel free to study for yourself.
However, the best thing to do is seek the Lord for understanding as you study the Scriptures for yourself.

The knowledge that the RCC is pagan and rejected by God comes from God Himself. It is part of what He told me when he delivered me from that institution. So, not thanks. I have no misconceptions about it all. I know quite well what the RCC is and how God feels about it.

By way of personal preference, I probably would not want such a name, but I don't think we should be legalistic about it either. I would simply say that a person with concerns should seek God's wisdom. He will put it upon their hearts what He would have them to do.

Read about emperor Constantine 1st and major changes to christianity which he made in 4th century. I know that the Bible is true because the God who inspired is still alive today. HE is the one who came to me and revealed Himself to me. HE is the one who led me to purchase a Bible and began to teach me its meaning.
Forget looking at man and the horizontal. God is still God regardless of what man perverts, changes, or fails to understand.
Don't look to man at all, but seek God in all things. He is not a respecter of persons and will reveal Himself to those who diligently seek Him.
And don't stop when something is not the way you thought it was. I guarantee, you will feel stupid when you discover what you thought you understood was something different. But if your perception of things is to much of an imperative, than keep on having pointless arguments but you'll miss a lot of information and truth that way. So the thing about Virgin Mary being a copy of Babylonian Semiramis is true. Holy Catholic church doesn't even deny it. Read your encyclopedia.
I don't know alot about Catholicism, but I know that Holy Bible is the cornerstone of belief and dogma for Christians. Not catholics, protestants or orthodox. You know how christianity split up into thousands od smaller religions? By people having pointless arguments! With no true wish of cooperating and growth. So don't do that! Learn about what you believe in. If you're a Christian, learn about Christ, about gnosis, about where it all came from.

I too wondered originally why He had me to do this. However, one of the things I have come to see is that - although I am not a fan - there are many who are; including many who claim to be Christians. She is an icon/idol for many, and I was not aware of her impact.
In all, God wills for all to be saved. Thankfully He cares enough to open our eyes and draw us to Him.

It is a lie that the RCC was the only/original church. Ever heard of the Orthodox church? Yes, it would do you well to look at history.
If you wish to cling to the word of man, then you will be deceived. If you desire truth, then ask God and He will reveal it to you.
I am not saying that Jesus' mother wasn't blessed. However, the one the RCC calls "Mary" is not the mother of Jesus. We are called to obey the Word of God, and His instruction is clear for those who truly believe.

The reference to the Orthodox Church was by no means an endorsement. It was merely to disprove the RCC claim to be the "original" church.
God never entitled Mary the "Mother of God", so you are speaking to an idol when you "pray" to such.

While I am intimately familiar with the RCC, you are absolutely correct that it is not my understanding (or perceived lack thereof) which makes it pagan. It is its own history and operation against Scripture and the God who inspired it which makes the RCC pagan. The RCC is pagan for no other reason than that is what it has formed itself to be.

By way of personal preference, I probably would not want such a name, but I don't think we should be legalistic about it either. I would simply say that a person with concerns should seek God's wisdom. He will put it upon their hearts what He would have them to do.

OMG! Okay I used to love that song Ave Maria, but thats simply because I love the opera version and she sounded nice when she sang the chorus,, BUT I never knew the lyrics to the song completely. I have not attacked Beyonce. Neither did I seek to do these videos about her. It is what the Lord commanded me to do. I know He has His reasons.
I also never said that "listening" to her music results in demon possession. However, people are introduced to spirits in many media that they are unaware of. Your being unaware of something doesn't make you immune to it.
That is why God says His people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Not a comment about you directly, just to the point.

Read about emperor Constantine 1st and major changes to christianity which he made in 4th century. He had a lot of grudges to heal, he was indeed the first 'christian' emperor so he needed to gain sympathy from the people who were 'pagan'. He took everything there was pagan and combined it with christianity so people would come to 'Lord's' church. So we don't know what christianity is at all. The bible was forbiden for so long, we don't even know if anything inside it is true or original.

I know that the Bible is true because the God who inspired is still alive today. HE is the one who came to me and revealed Himself to me. HE is the one who led me to purchase a Bible and began to teach me its meaning.
