I did not think that you would come to a similar conclusion as me at the end of this. My conclusion was, Either SoH pro works on everything, or they change the effect to something else since almost all smg/assault users will use that perk. Given that I thought that being able to prepare grenades faster (faster pulling the pin not faster exploding time) would make sense with SoH pro but....I like your Idea better. Your thoughts are really great imo.

Now what was Treyarc's reason for no SoH pro for snipers? Did they give a reason,I don't know. But if it was to make the game more realistic or some shit, they're fucking idiots. Treyarc developers shouldn't be allowed to use the word "realism",under penalty of stoning.

Faster ADS with an M60 like! The thing weighs almost twice as much as the L96A1. Can Treyarc not see that an AK74u with SoH is simply many times better than the L96A1. I've been killed across Havana by an AK74u when sniping.

I agree Why not get rid of pro perks and just give us more perks. If they did something like that I think it would be cool if they let us pick whatever perks we wanted to us. So no tier 1, 2 or 3 perk slots. Its just pick 3 you would like or a perk that lets u pick any 2 other perks. Also black ops snipers are awful. Even if you hard scoping the hit detection is all screwed up in this game. I would like to see a good mix between MW2 and black Ops for the snipers in the next game.

I think that they should swap the pro benefits of soh with scout. that way scout becomes a sole sniper perk and the snipers have the faster aim down sight, which would compensate for the initial scope in sway

I understand why a sniping nerf was needed, honestly playing alone in mw2 was awful because you couldn't get on a team without having 3 snipers who were either terrible and contributed to nothing, or ones that were good but never played the objective.. I was hoping that by simply removing SoH Pro for snipers would make it harder to do, but completely rendering sniping useless sucks equally, if not more, than before. Make it require skill to perform, but not impossible altogether. =/

I have been one that conceded SOH pro simply for the fact of hoping for a bit of give and take with Treyarch. Hoping that maybe if they saw that we were willing to let SOH pro slide maybe they would fix the Spread ADS and the stupid sway. At the end of the day I still want SOH pro on the snipers but was willing to comprimise. 3arc on the other hand is not which is why I'll be buying Homefront next week.

Is it unfair that SoH pro works for all weapons except snipers? sure it completely hinders snipers purposely, i do not think it is needed.... just take away the initial patch, thats all we really want right? That being said most snipers use the weapon because we want a challenge. The fact is we knowingly handicap ourselves in the game to begin with, to handicap it even more due to the fact of increased skill level is just rediculous.

Ok so im coming from a pc background but i also play on the ps3, so iv got both views of the sniping in bops. The sniper is perfect in black ops on the pc, i can quick scope, drag scope, hard scope and run around with the sniper no problem. Soh pro is not needed at all, they just need to get rid of the sniper patch on the consoles and ud see that soh pro wudnt be needed. I can snipe on consoles, my only problm is the controller, i duno hw u can prefer to mouse and keyboard, givn the option ofcrs

@ImnotKnuckles there is a beta test going on right now that you can use mouse and keyboard on console. i was a pc gamer before switching to console and hearing this is the perfect balance for me.

That was interesting....but there's no way SOH will go. I was surprised stopping power got taken out, but if you weren't using SP in MW2, Cold Blooded or SoH was the way to go.

Trey had a stupid vendetta against Sniper Rifles, so they screwed them and they know people don't want to use them. Why would they....when people can use AKs and Commandos with SOH and just hold the trigger? =P

i think that it should be that you do the challenges for the pro perks but you then buy them after the challenges are complete so its 3000CoD points and challenges and then you have the perk. so then there would still be the buying upgrades and perks but at a lesser level
