I hear that asian skin is very sensitive. Is that true? I had a korean boyfriend once who had a sore from where his dog bit him and it took forever for it to heal. We arent together anymore though. But he would tell me that asian skin is sensitive and takes longer to heal.
@temickab i think it's different for everybody. maybe ur bf's wound wasn't healing cuz he wasn't cleaning it well. i don't think i have that sensitive of skin.
saralikeskiwi - I've read about that and have seen vids about it being great for hair. Haven't tried it but will have to... who doesn't like healthy hair?!! =D
I use a Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil for my skin and my hair. It has actually stopped my ends from breaking and keeps my hair well conditioned. Is it really helping with lowering your Cholesterol? Mine is high as well and I will switch my Olive Oil for Coconut Oil if I thought it would make a difference.
AquaCherokee27 - That's it!! I'm totally gonna start using it for my hair!!!! How do you use it? Before or after shower or what? Let me know!!! I want healthy hair!!!! =D
And yes!!! Coconut oil does help with lowering cholesterol... it has beneficial triglycerides... if you google coconut oil and lowering cholesterol, you'll def find something! Good luck!!!
@LipAddict - After I wash and condition, I let my hair air dry about 90%. I part my hair in 4 sections on each side of my head and take 1/2 tsp and melt in my hand then start at the ends and work my way up to the roots. Now that it is winter one funny thing a realized is your hair will feel stiff in the cord but when you enter a warm room then it's soft again. Give it a try.
