Your voice would need an aquired taste. I think you need to learn to control the vibrato a bit more...

I can either straight tone or not but I can't really control my vibrato beyond that. Perhaps with more lessons my vibrato would change, or perhaps I just have a naturally faster one like Raul Esparza. Still, if you don't like it that's ok. Some people like Carters/Lansbury/Lupones/voice more and that's ok too. Just because you don't like my voice doesn't mean that most people don't like it as well or that it requires an acquired taste.
