well i think they WERE the underdog before they faced the red sox..since they beat the red sox, i think they became just about equal with the phils...any team that can give up a 7 run lead in the clincher that would have got them into the world series, and then come back and beat the red sox of all teams in game 7, loses the title of underdog for me lol..but then again the phils playoff record was 12-3..i dunno, all i know is the rays were good as hell for an underdog team..good bunch of kids

I'm a Reds fan, but I actually wanted the Rays to win, considering they are the ultra underdogs.
Oh well, the Phillies needed a win also.
