This scene actually brought tears to my eyes, and it still does every time I see it. If you watch the DVD with the actors audio commentary, they said at the end of this scene all of the people on the set were crying. So beautiful, even if they are killers.

at the end of this movie you feel as worn out and tired as the characters do, not saying that ina bad way. You just get the sense that you know you're caught because you develop a deep connection with the characters throughout the movie. The music plus the imagery of the scene make for something that will always remain in your mind. I watched this movie several years ago, yet I still remember this scene as one of my favorite scenes in a movie ever!!!

Well I loved the Bonnie and Clyde ending just like I loved Butch & Sundance and the ending of The Wild Bunch. The difference is none of the later kidnapped teenage girls and raped them or stabbed unarmed women in the back to steal their car etc. Otis was a little bitch the moment he was tested ie Big Bad Bounty hunter kicked his srawny ass with ease lol!

The reason that the Devil's Rejects is such a cool movie is that is completely unapologetic about it's actions...it's villains are villains all the way through...and because of they simple-minded ability to stick to what they do, we somehow find ourselves cheering for them, despite knowing what they've done (see house of a thousang corpses...oh man, they do some sick ass shit)...and the song is really appropriate too...they eventually get theirs, but it's so atistically done...i loved it
