I love the way that people put there own flavor into a piece of music. I'm in the Akins band and we play it a little differently and I really like how this band plays it too. The french horn and flugelhorn melody gives me chills :)

Wooooww. My school ROCKED this freaking song at UIL. Straight 1's. Our 2 trumpets did so good on that part. Then at letter R just everything was good, even our flugelhorn players finally got that part in tune and got it. Then at S the slow down was so perfect when we got into S it just felt like that rush of adrenaline. Mann it was awesome..

feetballer's right...the 1st trumpet isn't very good. But I thought the part with the piano and bassoons wasn't too bad. It sounded in time. Pretty good though.

My honest opinion is that yall didn't do sooo well...we played it but we played way better than that! Clarinets getting in late not a good thing!! Flutes gotta watch their tuning sounds flat!! Plus not hitting all the notes!! But I'll say yall did ok!!

The intonation wasn't too bad. I didn't see much problem in it. I love this song. It's epic. I played alto sax for this piece for an honors camp this week. It's a difficult piece.

Wow. Not even kidding, like, the beginning was okay until it got to the part where the bassoon and the piano and the bassclarinets had their line. Then they were off and they sounded bad. I'm sorry. You guys did good though. I'm a bassoonist and we're playing this piece right now.
