  • Want one

  • I found that very easy to fap too

  • Sweet engine.

I can't think of a better way to burn through barrels of fuel.

As far as "more HP than a Honda does redlining". Let me assure everyone the Japanese would find this creation pointless and grotesque.

  • 0:48 your dreams come true here :)

  • Yummy !

  • Saaaaaaweeeeeeeetttt!!! Love me a Hemi!

  • Was the belt slipping? I love me a Hemi.

  • Engine has almost the same HP/Torque as my '73 Chevy Vega!

  • not enough spark plug wires!

  • does that fit in my honda?

  • does that fit in my honda?

  • does that fit in my honda?

  • Aahh gota love this old V8 technology. So seventies!

  • @ThePugMonkey Exactly what is new engine technology?

  • did it smoke from the dyno sits on the flywheel or??

  • @EpicDJKitty

maybe im wrong, but that looks like vapor/alcohol smoke... it looks just like our twin turbo dohc northstar V8 etanol/alcohol on dyno, when peak pressure rises, the fueltech prevents poor mix overheat, it enriches the mix...

  • you want to know something funny (true)? that engine, with full drag-race components and an overdriven supercharger on nitromethane will put out 10,000 hp. NO JAPANESE ENGINE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN A CARGO SHIP can put those horsepower numbers out. not to mention that the cargo ship's engine is 100 times larger and redlines at 900rpm. that one ( the c-500 hemi) will redline at about 9,000-10,000rpm. also, the ship's engine uses fuel at a much greater rate for the output it produces.

  • @mattio79

thats true, but APPLICATION is WHAT defines (in this case) engine technology ...

this isnt japan x usa, or some childish dispute... but one who compares car(race, drag, street) engines with cargo ship engines is too identified with something, and will defend it blindly, so... nevermind.

i love, and buit internal combustion engines, steam engines, etc... but they all seems ancient (55% to 78% of energy loss on thermal kinetic terms) wankels are better, turbines even more, papp ++

  • Oh hell yes...I think I cum in my shorts!!!

  • I wondered where the engine to my Neon went. Lol

  • Hmm, idle seems a little lumpy ;)

  • You still think this is an engine? Its the size of my Room.. and just 1000HP?

Hahahhaha.... Too bad manufacturers that lack engineering aid their engines with huge displacement...

  • @xenoo4life you obviously don't understand the difference of this engine and the ones you are trying to compare it to. This kind of engine will run this hard for a lot longer than anything else that is forced to develop the same 'horsepower', also said engines won't develop the same kind of torque number this will and produce the same kind of reliability, at the same dollar per hp...

  • @xenoo4life Yes its huge.. Its smaller then a quad cam or ohc v8 - even a little one, with the correct engineering these engines have much more potential then small displacement engines, force a little 2l motor to 1000hp, now put the same pressure and force to each cylinder of a big block and you have 3000+hp. The real bad thing about these engines is they weigh alot.. by alot i mean alot! Although alloy parts can make them as light as older small blocks they are nothing like a little 4cyl-6cyl.

  • ...I would say this eats Honda's/Toyota's for lunch.... but that would imply that they would even be a full meal... I guess they would be more like a late night snack for this animal...:)

  • @angusandleigh But can it eat a toyota supra with 2000hp? i think not.

  • @pnitro3 it will still 'eat' a 2000hp Supra engine that isn't producing the torque this one is....it also won't hold up as long as this one will, and will cost a lot more to get similar numbers (hp) furthermore, this engine will walk up to 2000hp, and when built like that... the Supra engine isn't even in the same league...to get an idea, I would love to see if a 2000hp Supra engine can move the same iron that a 2000hp HEMI can move..can it? I think not...

  • @angusandleigh Main thing being a small engine with a big hairdryer (turbo) has the same effect as a power band on a two-stroke. Only your going from 200-300hp (supra) to 2000hp in hardly any revs. A 2000hp engine with more displacement would not only eat the smaller engine because it has a ton more torque throughout the rev range but it also makes more power up to peak throughout the rev range.

  • suck those honda right thru the blower and shit em right out! Go Mopar

  • i saw the title and watched this whole thing waiting for it to explode...

  • Yep that gave me goosebumps

  • @Mentorcase me too lmao!

  • I am i LOVE :)

  • a motor designed in 1937, first produced for mass production in 1951 model year, and still going strong today. my beloved chrysler corporation rules!

  • MUST HAVE!

  • put that in your Bugatti veyron and smoke it

  • that is 1 Badd Ladd........ no doubt!!!!

  • GOD DAMN!

  • ...this will be my new ring tone...just don't expect me to pick up on the first few rings :)

  • i didn't see no explosion. wrong title LOL

  • @hotpapayasalad Blown as in Supercharged, not blown up!!!

  • I find hondas and any high hp import impressive but in reality anyone who truely knows anything about cars will know that if given a 1.8L and a 5.0L engine and they both have the same volumetric efficiency, temps, ect. The 5.0 will maker more power. Simply because at that volumetric efficiency it can move more air. Turbos are not a replacement for this logic because once again all factors equal a bigger motor will make more power

  • monster bro. thumbs up

  • My 05 Prius would own this sad engine.

Of course I'm kidding but though I would give opportunity for trolls to respond here.

  • Too extreme for endurance

  • these motors shit out smart cars

  • This thing probably makes over 600HP at idle!

  • 57 humanoids have their bad ass 15 second toybox rejects

  • It took 1.11 minutes to drink a whole tank of fuel

  • whats that yeaping about hondas... are hondas competion? I think yer scared shit about them hehe. hondas are light and makes 1000hp out a 4cilinder under heavy boost..

But i prefere Rotaries.. so no harm from me. @ RyanAA340 nice v8 mate!

  • @fastbastard2007 they can make 1000 hp... but larger engines make more power... period....

  • @mageac true. But putting all the BHP and Torque on the tarmac is the most common problem. :)

  • @fastbastard2007 top fuel dragsters make 8,000hp out of a hemi, thats twice as many cylinders, but 8 times more power....doohhhhhh

  • @ristika89 Most of that power has to do with the fuel it is running, that alcohol has a lot more btu's at that high of a pressure in the cylinder than a normal engine with even a 10:1 compression ratio. Hence the "Top Fuel"

  • @damntheman88 well yea, but how many honda engines do you see making 4,000 hp with any kinda fuel? lol

  • Makes more HP idling than a Honda does redlining.

  • @AustinBray1994 hell one cylinder makes more hp then a honda

  • @AustinBray1994 lmmfao,,,,,,right

  • awesome

  • put it in a Hyundai.

  • A Smart Car's wet dream.

  • @mr1000rx my wet dream

  • @mr1000rx fuck its my wet dream

  • @mr1000rx or it's nightmare.

  • beautyful engine !

  • they've finally found a cure for Lead Foot

  • @roush158 Yep. Even Moar led foot!!! >:D

  • runs like a lawnmower for the first half

  • Wow, what a BEAST!

  • aaah a motor that big runs my girlfriends vibrator LOL

  • As butthead once asked "Is this a GOD DAMN?"

  • now thats magical

  • that was awesome!

  • the supercharger screams like a girl lol

  • @willvb13 BBC have the distributor on the rear, not in the front.

  • @willvb13 I think you need to step back and observe who the fucking idiot really is. After all, you're the one that stated its a "Chevy 454". You should educate yourself in the achitecture of the American pushrod v-8. I get the idea that the last comment you made is just the tip of the iceburg.

  • @willvb13 lol u r as stupid as your comment. show me a 454 with plugs through the valve covers dumbass. bet u drive a honda with a coffee can for a muffler

  • @willvb13 you sir are an ignorant cunt

  • @willvb13 lol you dont know anything about cars. chevy's dont have distributor in front and none have plugs in valve covers. you need glasses lady.

  • @willvb13 You must hate yourself mate, because thats a HEMI!!!!!!!!!!

  • MADE IN USA!!!

  • im just laughing at the people who watch too much pass time and pinks.

  • ehh

  • Put your hand a little closer to that belt :-D

  • This is a helluva motor, something those Honda guys will RARELY ever feel pushing them back into the seat.

  • @Chris17psi ...those Hondas may push you into the seat...but this mother will make you one with the seat...

  • @angusandleigh i've been in a pro tuned honda, if boosted right they can pull you back.......... but this? this thing says f*** you, your going in the trunk!

  • @jhowe67 LOL now that's funny! ..as I first started to read your comment, I thought you were going to say how yeah Hondas somehow pull better than this etc *insert typical ricer argument here*, but that was good, would make a good bumper sticker! :)

  • @angusandleigh No, it will make you one with the passangers seat after you gone through the driver seat..

  • @dtiydr ...need the extra telescoping wheel to drive from the backseat eh?

  • @angusandleigh Yes so it is a little problematic with these engines..

  • @dtiydr ...they should come with equipped with special heavy duty seats and harness to avoid such problems :)

  • @angusandleigh And a catchnet behind the driverseat just in case. :)

  • @dtiydr ...so long as all three pieces are available for my '09 Ram

  • @angusandleigh Hehe.

  • @angusandleigh this shit will super glue ur ass to the seat lol

  • @suzuki4life7 ...and I would be more than OK with that lol

  • @angusandleigh

You know, Honda makes Indy engines too.. The best actually. Google it...

  • 6 71 more like a 8 71

  • Deffinately needs MORE boost, that big ass 6-71 should be whining a lot louder!!!

  • 1100hp......lol i couldnt even drive that ^^ still an epic win tho.

  • who the hell said 1100 isnt much is full of shit its prolly the honda guys talkin shit again

  • I have made 900+ HP with a Indy Maxx Wedge N/A style....And layed down some e/t numbers to back it up...

  • I could not agree more! 1100 HP is nothing to shake a stick at! I have been involved with racing since 1972.

  • Mother Mopar at work

  • Meh, would expect more from a blown engine these days unless the owner is keeping it chill for years of trouble free driving.

  • is it wrong, that this video gave me a boner?? :D

  • @DaMatth So I'm not the only one? haha

  • 1100 hp is good for a 470 truck pull engine with cast iron heads. 1680 is good for a 940. 1400 is good for a 500ci gm iron block and gm al heads.i do race engines 5 r 6 days a week.i work 10 miles from indy cyl we are the kings of truck pull. bracket racers etc .i delivered an engine to tennessee and the dude had a big check on the wall of his garage for a million .he won a million dollars in 1 weekend with our hp

  • @1bad99cat Actually I do. Its you that doesnt have shit. So why did you open your mouth? Russ Flagle your boyfriend? I know Russ, I know people who work for him, on his engines, in his shops and I know exactly what I'm talking about. I work in a race shop 10 miles north of him and we make shit that he dreams of. So Fuck and your boyfriend Russ Flagle! So why open YOUR mouth?

  • @myls1firehawk i didnt even see this vid some jerk off friend of mine went out posted a bunch of bull shit on all kinds of vids to cause problems thinking it was funny now im cleaning up the mess.I have know idea who Russ is so enjoy ur engines and rock on!

  • then comes a turboed civic... LOL

  • did anyone say POWER!!!!!!!!!!

  • i would love that moter

  • In reality its 1164 HP at 7000 rpm and has a life span of 60 seconds at full power

The 25 HP 180 rpm fly wheel engine superior made is about 2000 cu in ,but has a 60 year life span running 24-7

    at full power

  • Bugatti's are better

  • What is annoying is not only the bedwetting trash talking teenyboppers with their wet dreams of friends in pontiacs, claiming a hemi in a 70 gm? get real or have pics to back it up, the other is the sack of crap calling America "Embarrassing" , tell ya what, go see your mommy, tell her you would like to swollow your teeth and you need a ride to the local VFW to let the locals know your thoughts!!!! Bet you wont make it home in one piece!!!!!! Might not at all!!!!

  • Engine porn! Lovely sounding lope to the engine. Sounds like quite low compression and high boost. Just wondering why did you go for twin carbs rather than injection?

  • you could make more horsepower with turbos with the same psi......simple fact.

  • @MasterYota4Runner

On V8 engines turbocharging is much more expensive than supercharging.

  • @MasterYota4Runner Yeah that's why the top fuel cars use turbchargers right?

  • @CDMVette Yeah, imagine what ET's they could hit with turbochargers. instead of having to have around 300 hp JUST to drive the supercharger. a stock Hemi does NOT have the power to even drive the supercharger on a top fuel. its just simple facts. turbos make more power. they're just more complex and expensive. thats why they don't run them on top fuel. and you would have to have the turbo off a locomotive or 4 Garrett GT60's. thats alot of turbo piping.

  • @MasterYota4Runner You have no idea what the hell your talking about. So you drive a dinky car and read a magazine and now you think your the best mechanic in the whole world ??

  • @OmniPresent oh god.......a mopar freak.......... i need to get moparts. my dodge broke down i need moparts.......

actually i know exactly what i'm talking about...........douche.

  • @MasterYota4Runner So are you some master head mechanic for Toyota ?

  • @OmniPresent No, but i am the head mechanic at my work. And yes i do know Toyotas and quite a few other makes like the back of my hand. and i do happen to like Dodge, better than Chevy or Ford. ha ha

  • @CDMVette another reason is that turbos can´t handle nitro heat. In theory a turbo setup would probably increase the power output ALOT more than any supercharger becoz of the blower/compressors parasitic loss. A turbo able to producing topfuel power around 8000hp:s needs to be HUGE and intercooled. this turbo would most likely also suffer of lag. Thats not very useful at the strip when you need to control the grip all the way down. The force needed to turn the blower is around 1000hp, approx 12%

  • This engine making 1164hp. @ 7000 rpm is very respectable numbers, you have to consider this was the 1st dyno pull made and it only had a 1:1 ratio blower pulley on it! With a swap to another blower pulley like a 2:1 ratio would spin the blower even faster and create more boost, with trying out different pulley ratios and a little time testing and tuning it would really put out some truly awesome numbers! I bet it's still capable of hitting the 1400-1600hp mark! Keep up the awesome work!

  • What a very nice response!

    I,m orosukoheihachirou!!

  • dammnn! thing wanted to blow!

  • sounds like it has compression problems...but what do i know...nothing bout cars...

  • @MommyBird10 Nope, that's just the camshafts doing its role.

  • pure violence!!!!!

  • does that thang have a himi in it?

  • On methanol obviously lol. The problem with big overdrive ratios is the supercharger efficiency goes WAAAAY down. As where 1:1 with a 8-71 your supercharger is taxing the engine about 200 hp, a 14-71 on 50% overdrive is taking probably 450-500 horsepower. And that kind of boost is very hard to handle not to mention.

  • Dear Santa !!!!!!!

  • I wonder with the carbs on top of the blower would they be considered draw thrus? Would it make more power if you were to blow thru them as a turbo does? JW

  • @351bottlefed Yes. This is considered a draw-through system. (never heard anyone call this type of set up that before but oh well.)

The thing about draw-through with a roots is the rotors help break up and atomize the fuel. You wouldn't get that as much if this was a blow-through with a roots supercharger. Also putting the throttle upstream of the blower means it doesn't need a blow-off valve.

  • 666jay, drives his mothers car around, 4 door import with a big ole fart pipe muffler on it ,but he does have the pep boys hub caps with plastic spinners on it!!! so it's BAD!!! and u don't even want him to hit the ""NOS""... I seen it smoke the tire,205/70r/13 for 12 ft around the corner down in the hood yo...man that thing makes 62HP so i would'nt mess with it!!!

  • this turned me on : )

  • It's come with what ya brought and hope you have enough! HP per litre means nothing in a drag race.

  • JUNK!!!!!! imports all tha way

  • @jj666jay You can go ahead and put the baddest 4 cylinder you can find, with as big a turbo as you want into an identical car that this v-8 goes into and you will get whomped on bud. There's no replacement for displacement, period.

  • is it a 540...528?

  • Hey all you import guys saying that 1100 horse power is not that impressive for this motor. This motor sounds streetable to me, it idles relatively smooth. I could be wrong but its probably a street motor. Let me say this. Every time I go to street night at Lebanon Dragway I see lots of V-8 rear drive street cars running 9's 10's and 11's. Then the front drive turbo imports come out , and can't seem to get thier act together good enough to even break into the 11's. AND the imports break parts.

  • To the comments below: To this day I've never seen one of your rice burning 'hot rods' beat an american muscle.

  • @gein6 I have seen to many beat american muscles

  • @gein6 expecially with the 1.3l rotary making a 6 second pass.. not to many american muscle cars can even do 6 second passes

  • did i hear a little spark knock ?

  • Some funny comments, like 1100 horsepower isn't much power, cracks me up. 1100 horsepower would put a 3200 pound car in the 8 second range in a 1/4 mile. I bet half the people making these stupid comments have never been in a car that could run in the 13's never mind the 8's.

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi lol yeh, better than my 50hp daihatsu

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi 1100hp isn't "that much" for what it is, sure it is alot of power in anyones language but for the size of it its not really anything special. I run 182ci street engines to more than 1100hp on petrol and BTW, unlike alot of people on here (as you say) I have actually done a 7.2 @ 181mph with one of these baby motors.

  • @RIPSNZ You would have to be going faster than 181 mph

  • @johndeereman451 nope, not at the time, but we have gone 186mph @ 7.2 since still with alot of top end traction problems

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi

1100hp is a lot, no doubt, but really not a lot when you take the engine size into account. And that is what people is trying to tell you. 130hp pr liter capacity is just about what motorcycles have, from factory. But yes 1100hp is a lot of horsies.

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi i have been 10.90 in the 1/4, 1100hp in a 3200lb car should e around 8.40-8.90 depending. anybody that thinks 1100hp isn't much is dumber then hell.

  • @my92d350 think they read 110hp. LOL my elky runs low 12s, and to think of 7-8s? holy hell.. dont think my balls are that big.

  • @akc121783 lol, yeah 10.90 is a hell of a ride, 8s must realy be one hell of a ride.

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi very very well said.

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi Yeah most of them haven't even seen such a barbaric power unfolding..

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi from my prospective, 1100hp sounds more like 10-15grand. It took me roughly 7 grand to get a 5000lb truck into the 12s. And... thats only half(if even) of 1100hp.

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi Just a Subaru boxer engine well prepared in a VW beetle and there it is your 8 sec car, spending 1/3 of gas and don't dirtying the air so much

    our planet appreciate!

  • @MaharishiMahaYogi >> Yes sir, your obsolutely right.!

  • What is used as resistant media of what ever called it?

  • 1100hp is not very much in so much liters..

  • @klasse2bub are you kidding me?! 1100 hp is a lot of hp for 8.65 liters. a 426 which equates to 7 liters only makes 425 hp. that thing makes 2.5 times more hp and is only 1.5 liters larger displacement
