I've never owned or driven one, but above all I value practicality and function in transportation, and the Land Cruiser delivers like no other vehicle (from all I've heard, seen, and read about it). I've wanted one for several years now; I may just break down at some point and pony up the near $70 grand for one! Doubtful that my 2006 Tacoma would fare well across this stretch of water, especially being a 2WD. Oh but she's a champ on the streets! :)

Thats awesome...scary but awesome. Had my cruiser in a similar situation, unfortunently I went too fast and my the engine shut off! Thankfully it fired back up a few minutes later and drove right out,....then 400 miles home hahaha cant beat a cruiser.

Once I drove mine Under the Polar Ice Cap, through the Yukon , through the tundra, the place not the Toyota, over the rockies, and back across to Nova Scotia and was able to pick up some lobster for supper. MInd you, I came across a Hummer that was overheating while waiting in a parking lot and I was able to steam my lobsters, so I guess I appreciated General Motors engineering.

Thats nothing. I have a uzj100, and have had the hood completely submerged driving 20-25 yards, and the landbruiser just ate it up like it was nothing. What is even cooler is that my cruiser is stock. No snorkel, no lift, stock michelin ltx m/s.
