  • you the plank, get a life !!

  • I love it, so typically Irish and tuneful, the banjo brilliant, makes you want to dance and laugh and sing along with it, in short it makes you happy !

    That makes it the best.

  • @kellyoneill --agree a brilliant version very addictive as most of Lukes singing is

  • @kellyoneill

that's what I've just been doing:))))

what an accent:))) what A Singer!:)

  • ...and the rhythm banjo at the front - Luke Kelly's banjo not Barney's? Lyrics from Peggy Gordon and also from the night visiting song... Someone who knows please say why & how these songs are all linked!

  • well they are all related because they are all Scottish songs about being madly in love, and they are all beautiful.

  • brilliant. i was lucky to see him in concert with the Dubs in 1969. another great posting.

  • he sounds fantastic here. ..

looks pretty gd in the pic too!

  • again...how many times can I listen to this song and still feel a mighty joy down deep. Great tune. Keep posting...keep drinking...keep it all going, now.

  • This may be my favorite song now of Luke's. I have and listen to almost every tune he ever did, but this is such a mellow, passionate version that I'm giving a Slainte every two minutes! Absolutely remarkable.

  • Yeah marvellous!

The tune's the same as "Peggy Gordon", and one of the lyrics...

  • It's not the same tune, though it sounds somewhat similar. Anyway two great songs indeed!

  • Nagyszerű!

  • Fantastic!
