Greatly enjoy hearing about all the things going on in your world, Jenny. Say have you heard of Rosetta stone language cds? The text books seem like such a cumbersome way to learn German. Have practiced on any German speakers?
I find most textbooks are very bad at teaching German. The one I had in high school was great. It started you off very simple. I choose textbooks because they cover syntax and grammar. I'm not so much interested in just learning phrases. I have to know what I'm saying and why I'm saying it that way. I have heard of Rosetta Stone but it's a bit pricey for me. I do practice now and then with some German speakers.

OMG only today was i talking about going to see chitty chitty bang bang and wicked on broadway! ive been to hollywood for a few hours on my way to vegas or hawaii one or the other we kinda went alot of places. i loved being at LAX it was so cool lol x
Chitty land would be in lower Buckinghamshire - and it's not an official tour or anything, just me nosing around to find some of the film's locations (I know where they are). Also me nosing around at some of my book's locations, like Chesham, Lacy Green and High Wycombe.

I stay home and enjoy the quiet. Try peanut butter on the plain cookies. It's delish!
