  • I have grown up listening to Afro-Cuban jazz and this conflicts with everything I have come to love and enjoy about Manteca. Maybe if i didnt know what it was about and the 50 recordings+ i have heard of different takes on this. The rest of this album is pretty cool but when this track plays something just isnt right. Like green tomatoes.
