@msdianedowling The Canadian prison system has been running several farms across the country since the 1800's. They were originally built to grow food for the prisons, but also became a way for prisoners to learn all the skills involved in agriculture, as well as work skills, learning to work with animals, horticulture, team building skills etc. The farms have created prize winning stocks of animals over the years, and the prisoners have benefitted from them tremendously.
