I have a question, I hope you can help me :) I have the same beautiful keyboard :) I red all, and I don´t even know how can I change the sound while I´m playing without any cut, for example, I´m playing strings and I want to change for piano, while I press Piano, the strings stop (playing with the button "favorites") thanx a lot!
@5botball Nope.., it's just a rompler. Does not have the ability to load in new samples. Just ones you've created or created by someone else using the internal tone set.
@Youshare91 That's really a subjective area. Personally I've always liked Roland pianos better than Yamaha. IMO Yamaha's piano patches are too bright.., and sound a bit thin. For me Roland has a fuller and richer sound. Again.., opinions differ greatly in this area. You have to really check this out for yourself. Now comparing the two keyboards.., the Juno-Di is WAY ahead of the MM6 when it comes to the features.
@9322002898 I'd say yes. The electronic kits are pretty good.., and the major upside to the Di is that using the software editor you can do some extensive editing to the drum kits. WAY more than what the MM6 is capable of.
@idleminds1 I've seen many vids (or at least all the current vids) on YouTube for this synth. It's an interesting synth too. I think it sounds pretty darn good. What I don't like is the MAJOR reduction in the screen size, and the amount of info available at one time on the screen. They should have just carried over the screen from the X50.
Wicked Videos mate, My juno will arrive hopefully this week and Ive been following all of your videos to look forward to it!! Any chance of hearing any preset vocoder patches, im quite interested in what it can do, cheers!
Thanks..., I'll try and throw up some vocoder preset audio demos this weekend. Gotta be honest.., the presets for the vocoder aren't really worth writing home about. Have you heard my other audio demos using a vocoder patch I created myself on the Di..???
Thanks..,, man this piano sounds so great live. My camera and the Tube's compression really takes away from it. The default velocity switch settings are great. One day I'll get a much better quality camera. I'm looking at Zoom's newest HD video recorder that has dual mics on top. Have you seen it? It's pricey too.
The FPS on the Zoom is the same as the one I have now and it looks great when recorded in HD mode (My vids aren't done in the HD mode to keep the size down). The FPS on the Zoom is pretty good IMO considering all the other features it has. It's a camera for musicians and there are tools (very useful one's too) on this that you don't find on the average digital vid camera.
true, i really like the concept. recently i had severe annoyance when i had to combine audio recorded on a zoom H4, and sync it with a video recorded elsewhere. without decent software it's no fun.
I'm going to try and get a short MP3 sample out today of the Juno's Concert Grand. I'll be in touch. I got a few other people wanting the same thing :)
I may actually do a good recording of this over the weekend.., and record it directly to my Fostex MR-8. I can then take that CD quality wav file and covert it to MP3.
Thanks man! I had some tonal bleeding in a spot or two.., where I held the pedal too long. This patch sounds 100 times better than this vid though. It sounds amazing when you're hearing it live. I'll be holding on to this Juno-Di until the keys fall off for sure!
That sounds like a nice and expressive grand sound. That's some serious playing too, even if I could play that well (which I can't yet) it would take me many many takes to get it that good. Nice one!
you are using the transpose in which tuning?

Absolutely awesome. Been watching your vids tonight and i'm blown away by the way you capture styles, and the sheer expressiveness of your play-style.
Starting to think that the Juno Di might be just the thing to round off my setup, been hearing alot of good things.

Thanks! The Di really is a great bargain. Good Fantom based sound engine.., and the editor opens up so many more options for patch editing.
