is it me or was 2008 like sooooo long ago?! Damn those where the days. love the videos but just looking at the date I can remember what I was doing back in 08. now it gonna be 2011 wow!! how time has passed me by........
I thought Heavy Nova was a cartridge release and not a Mega CD release. Classic Game Room HD did a review of Heavy Nova, and even the guy who recorded the video, who is a big fan of the Genesis thought Heavy nova was bad, but what would I know as I've never played it.
yesz it did,, it flagged sales in japan 10 fold compared to the likes of sonic cd etc,, but i mean its the only part of the video that i get regular debate from.
it was a good shmup, however it did nothing to show off what the add-on was capable of...It was basically a mega-drive game with cd audio. It was not a smart launch title by any means.
Ah, the Sega CD "Show 'Em" commercial. I once made a YouTube Poop of that commercial, but deleted it and never uploaded it because of the lack of quality YouTube Poop video effects Windows Movie Maker has.
Nice info, though. Gamig Historian, eat your heart out.
when we do history on Strictly Sega, unless it crosses over we like to tackle topics that haven't been done by every man and his dog,, eg: sega saturn console history etc...
Ya for its time there was quite a bit of horse power under the Mega (Sega) CD hood. However sega stupidly decided to keep the very limited 64 color palette....which made FMV look like terds and gameplay look no different then the genesis....awesome review guys!
The mega cd could have been better if it where not for those damn fmv games. There where tones of great games on there. Oh well. Nice video
