  • The mega cd could have been better if it where not for those damn fmv games. There where tones of great games on there. Oh well. Nice video

  • is it me or was 2008 like sooooo long ago?! Damn those where the days. love the videos but just looking at the date I can remember what I was doing back in 08. now it gonna be 2011 wow!! how time has passed me by........

  • @Segasaturnguy It looks like a show from the 90's. Ah the 90's such great times!!!

  • The Story Of The Mega CD I say got's to be my favorite video from you guys. :)

  • That 1st image is a PS2 made up to look like a Sega SG-1000 II, i so want one

  • yeh it looks great doesnt it

  • I thought Heavy Nova was a cartridge release and not a Mega CD release. Classic Game Room HD did a review of Heavy Nova, and even the guy who recorded the video, who is a big fan of the Genesis thought Heavy nova was bad, but what would I know as I've never played it.

  • well each to their own opinion

  • sol feace is awesome game and did not drag it down in anyway.

  • yesz it did,, it flagged sales in japan 10 fold compared to the likes of sonic cd etc,, but i mean its the only part of the video that i get regular debate from.

  • it was a good shmup, however it did nothing to show off what the add-on was capable of...It was basically a mega-drive game with cd audio. It was not a smart launch title by any means.

  • i had one when it first came out - waste of money but i had lots of fun with it so it wasn't a COMPLETE waste of money

  • well.. as long as u enjoyed the video :)

    all the best :)

  • Ah, the Sega CD "Show 'Em" commercial. I once made a YouTube Poop of that commercial, but deleted it and never uploaded it because of the lack of quality YouTube Poop video effects Windows Movie Maker has.

Nice info, though. Gamig Historian, eat your heart out.

  • when we do history on Strictly Sega, unless it crosses over we like to tackle topics that haven't been done by every man and his dog,, eg: sega saturn console history etc...

  • I always wanted a SegaCD.

  • Lots of good info here, interesting to hear from different parts of the globe!

  • Ya for its time there was quite a bit of horse power under the Mega (Sega) CD hood. However sega stupidly decided to keep the very limited 64 color palette....which made FMV look like terds and gameplay look no different then the genesis....awesome review guys!

  • tsk come on sol feace was pretty damn good

  • Sewer Shark FTW! Atleast thats what Ive heard :P

  • psst, just between u and me, ss is doing a digital pictures special later on in season 2... but dont tell anyone... hehhehe

  • well informative. i want a saturn NOOOW

  • Very good.
