  • vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Bring this back to the Iran when the Shah was in power. DESTROY THE AKHOON KOONI!

  • She's the best even over 60. Of course her specialty is Arabic dance.

  • @Hesam0000 Her specialty is Persian dance not Arabic! Iran is a Persian, not Arabic! It never has been and never will be!

  • @kalimaganeshshivan BORO BABA HAL DARI. THE DANCE IS CALLED "RAGHSE ARABI" NOT "RAGHSE FARSI" WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW SOMETHING DON'T EXPRESS OPINIONS. I've been watching her dance "Arabi" or Bellydance" for 40 years and you're giving me Farsi lessons!

  • @Hesam0000 Whatever! Iran is Iran - Persian! That's all that matters to me!

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Yes Iran is Iran but Iran is not just Persian. Iran is Mede, Aryan, Arab, Assyrian, Armenian, Mongolian, Afghan, Roman, Ottoman/turk, Kurd, Lor, Baluch and 20 other ethnicities & blood mixes. Kind of like America. Of course this has nothing to do with what I said, Jamileh is best in "Arabi" dance.

  • @Hesam0000 I think you misunderstood my comments. I know that all of these races and ethnic groups from the ancient and near ancient past comprise the people of Iran (you forgot to mention the East Africans that make up the South of Iran). My statement refers to the insidious hateful nature of the Arab and Islam that wants to lay waste to the purity of Persia. Persia is not an Islamic/Arab country and should never be referred to as such. Long live the ancient Pahlavi Dynasty (Zaratosht).

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Bahah, again you're hateful toward the wrong people. The real Arabs are living free in Dubai, it's the Iranians who have build up a stupid sect out of old Arab religion & use that to abuse their own countrymen. Ahmadinejad is not Arab he's an Iranian from Aradan village near Garmsar, 80 miles Southeast of Tehran. Khamenehii is not an Arab, he's from Mashad. Persia wasn't even pure 1000 years ago, it was way mixed. There's no Pahlavi Dynesty, just a tiny zartoshti population.

  • @Hesam0000 Furthermore, I realize that dance (and food) culture are an extremely important aspect of Persia and there are many different styles in Iran (my favorites are North and South) However, just like Reza Shah, I despise the negative images of Iran that are associated with Islam and Arabs such as camels, hijabs and mosques. I'm Indo-Iranian (Zoroastrian) and I want Islam destroyed in Iran. Bring back the edicts of Cyrus the Great (Korosh Mahashah) and Zoroastrianism; destroy the akhoon.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Wrong again. There's no negative image of Iran associated with Arabs but those that are intentionally spread by the Zionist-run media in America, UK and Israel. Even so, no one but the most illiterate equates Iran with Arabia and no matter what anyone does, the illiterate will not have a clear idea of who we are. They'll never know that we don't ride camels or we don't live on sand dunes. Contrary to you I want ALL organized religions wiped from Iran so Humanity takes over.

  • @Hesam0000 You've made some valid points. Perhaps eliminating religion altogether from Iran is a good idea, however the belief systems are so ingrained into society that it would be impossible and implausible to come on board with that philosophy. I just don't think that Islam should have ever been incorporated into Persian society and I think it has been detrimental to the existence of Persians. Cyrus the Great was a tolerant, benevolent emperor and his example should be brought back.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Islam didn't exactly incorporate into Persian society, islam was shoved up Persian society's ass. Arabs attacked Persia, burned and killed and raped and robbed our nation in the 600s AD then they planted thug regimes like IRI and whoever said something lost his head, compared to today, the Arabs were IRI & their regimes in Persia were Hezbollah and IRGC. Soon charlatan mullahs were added to our societies and they made a business out of drama and hero-worship called religion.

  • @Hesam0000 Nice display of historical knowledge, I'm going to have to put you on my friends list, if you want.

  • @Hesam0000

Islam was incorporated very well into Persian society. the greatest religious Islamic thinkers were Persians. In fact, had it not been for the Mongols and later on the crazy Safawi dynasty with its extreme radical version of Shiism imposed on the Iranians by the sword, the Persian culture would have dominated until now. the Mongols destroyed Iran. The Safawis imposed shiism by sword dooming the great Iranian culture to isolation and cutting off Iran from its environment.

  • @alfalfafalafelmafia The none-shia/Sunni Saudis and Pakis are even worse. What we know as Persian was Zartoshti culture and that's long gone. Safavieh Dynesty actually contributed the most to Iran's architecture, art and science. The evidence exist allover Esfehan. The Persia's center of science and literature was Bokhara and Baghdad before they separated from Iran. These new-Shia people & IRI regime are a cult not a religion. They kill, torture, rape to gain control & stay in power.

  • @Hesam0000

The greatest Iranians were pre-Safawi period. Architecture? maybe, but then again, the Mongols built great monuments to their power but were otherwise destructive.

Could you name some of the great thinkers and intellectuals since the Safawi era?

  • @alfalfafalafelmafia The Taj-Mahal in India was built by Persian architects for Shah-jahan during Safavi, the city of Ghazvin & "Chehelsotoon" was built by Safavi, Birjandi, Ghiasedine-hoseini-esfehani,Sheikh Bahaii, Zebn-O-Nesa Makhfi, Vahshi Bafghi, Jaami, Emrani, Lahiji, hatef-esfehani, mirzadeh-eshghi, mohammad Eghbal, Dehkhoda, Tahereh-Babi,Mahmud Saba, many more, from other Islam-era thinkers: Farabi, Ghazali, Kamaledin-Farisi, Biruni, Zakaria-Razi, Kharazmi, & many more.

  • @Hesam0000

Sir, I was asking about the period from the Safavi era onward, not other periods. Biruni belongs to a different period, same for Razi and others.

I would like to know names of scientists and writers (non-religious) and other intellectual from the Safavi period onward, not before. We know for example that Ferdosi lived during the Samanids.

  • @alfalfafalafelmafia Other than the last 2 lines the rest are Safavi or after. Safavi era was no more than 235 years or 3 generations and in that period there was this settlement between Islam, literature, science and Persian traditions. They were trying to do what IRI is trying to do, to adapt science with Islam, which ofcourse we know is not possible. Also Safavi-era Iran was poor that's why later Nader-shah afshar started conquering new territories. Later Qajars sold pieces of Iran to Brits.

  • @Hesam0000

Nothing personal, but it is clear that none of those mentioned come even close to the great Persian thinkers during the Islamic period. It is something to think about. Persia or Iran have always dominated culturally until the advent of two events: 1- There is no question that the Mongol's destruction of Iran had a lasting effect on Iran, 2- The quest of the Safawis with their obsession to turn Iran into Shiism did not help.

  • @alfalfafalafelmafia We always say Persia this Persia that but the people of our land have been shifted & changed and migrated many times during the last 7000 years. Partheans are now in North Caspian, Aryans from Europe to india, Medes from Shiraz to Lebanon, also most of us have 1/5 Arab blood & 1/5 Mongol. Ofcourse if you search the written 2500 year history you can find greater cultural icons than after the 235 year of Safavi but personally I think Dehkhoda did more for Iran than Ferdosi.

  • @Hesam0000

The Turks occupied most of the Arab countries and other countries. They did not change them culturally. In fact, they learned from them and preserved their culture.

If the Safavis wanted to "preserve" Persian culture from the Turks, they definitely did a bad and unnecessary job. It was the project of a dynasty bent on preserving its own by forcibly converting the population, thereby cutting off the umbilical cord that connected Persia to the rest of the Islamic environment.
