i've seen hits sold better and sold worse than ovi's but it doesn't matter a dirty play is dirty no matter if it injures the guy or not. the intent was there to injure the guy. As for Ovi's hit on campbell, I thought it looked minor and Ovi certainly knew once Camp went down that he was going to get penalized. I agree with the league decision since there didn't appear to be an intent to hurt the guy. I'll agree that Ovi should get into a brawl or two but he's the leading scorer and can't risk it

He had a knee to knee collision last night & now he is not only hurt but he will be suspended as well - did you know that? This is the second time in less than a week that he has been booted from a game for an illegal hit! His coach even said that it might be time for him to curb the reckless play. I think before we crown OV "the best player alive" we need to see him win something like a Cup!

I have to be honest here. I'm a Flyers fan, and I have season tickets. Briere is a very dirty player, and it's funny cause he couldn't defend himself if he were in a fight. I see him spear, slash, or throw elbows in person almost every night we play. This video is no surprise to me. I just wonder why no one boards him every game in retaliation. I don't want to see it happen, but the fact that people aren't doing it often shocks me. He gives them a lot of reasons to do it.
