This is probably the best Clamp series after TRC. Seriously, is so violent, over the top and it practically resumes all that is cool in anime, is like if Clamp wanted to include every anime and manga trope in this series, and how better to just name it X.

I actually think that Tsubasa doesn't even compare, X is a masterpiece even if it is unfinished. If you want to compare it to another great CLAMP manga I'd say RG Veda it's epic, bloody and beautiful, Tsubasa doesn't even compare with old CLAMP works, it's sad really.
