I had a moment like that, where I was the child. I am a 21 year old waitress and full time student. I was at work last night, and my last table of the night stiffed me. No tip on a huge bill, the customers had been difficult, and I was nearly in tears. My coworkers looked at me, knowing how it felt; then one of the customers, not mine handed me a tip, and said that it was to make up for the others. The grace that I felt in that moment was beyond anything I could put into words.
This is a very good story. It should be shared with everyone.
