Hey any idea when DataJack Plans on Selling these 3G Modems Again?

They won't say exactly. Rumor has it that they violated some terms of a contract with T-Mobile (which was apparently the network they used to provide service). I heard they could be going under because of this, but again, all of that is just a rumor. I emailed them and they said a couple weeks, but they've been saying that for over a month now. They also said they were switching to newer, sleeker modems since the launch modems were performing very poorly.

Yeah. It sucks cause I only gave Internet on my iPhone, I live out of the service range, all I can get is 3G, or Sattelite. And I just bought a new MacBook Pro. But I emailed them and they said they should start selling this week. Oh well. I guess time will tell. I just want these guys cause they offer unlimited.

I hear you.. I just want it because the internet here at my school sucks and they offer the most affordable plan. Plus I have a netbook and would like internet when I travel. I hope they start selling this week like you said.

This is the email They sent me.

"Unfortunately, DataJack USB modems are currently out of stock until further notice. If you go to our website and click BUY NOW then you will see a screen pop up informing you that we are not taking orders at this time, but if you fill out the short form that appears, you will be informed via email the moment we are back in stock for orders. We should have new and improved DataJack USB modems in stock ready for sale within 1 to 2 weeks. We apologize for the delay

With you did they say "1 to 2 weeks" or "just a couple of weeks"?

Here's what they told me.

"Thank your for email. At the current moment we have a estimated time of two weeks. The reason being is that we have update our network in order to provide better services for our customers. Once this updates are completed , we will continue to sell again."

Are you looking for a truly unlimited plan? I dont know who else offers that. T-Mobile and AT&T offer a 5GB plan for $60 a month (no contract). You can buy a third-party USB modem to use with them (you need a SIM card)

Yeah, they are full of shit.. Still saying two weeks. I might just be going with TMobile or something. Im giving DataJack until March and if they aren't selling, then screw them
