  • how you done te bending section sir???

bec i m doing te project on it

  • @aerobal1 de bent sections are prefab its just important that the length of the exhaust stays the same so if the radius of the bends is smaller you cad ad extra pipe

  • i needs a thousand of these by tomorrow.

  • @DastreagusLetobeiter Thats a pitty i gave this one away about half a year ago

  • Is it running on liquid or gas from the tank?

Any idea how much thrust it is producing / can produce?

    Nice vid. Thanks.

  • @tsbrownie Its running on propane from the tank.

The pulsejet should be able to produce 55 lbs

  • @vz800 I mean is it liquid or gaseous propane from the tank? I would guess liquid.

  • @tsbrownie in the movie its running on gaseous propane but it runs on liquid propane as well but then the tank has to be upside down

  • Do not broke the spark plug with candle flame?

  • @LobateZZZ i still use the same sparkplug its still working.

  • The second time you started it, was that thing actually running off it's own power? By that I mean no spark at all?

  • @Magnuspire for starting i use a spark and compressed air after that its running on its own.

  • thump upgreat video well done

  • @ingridgott Thanks Ingrid

  • Cool video love the sound looks amazing.Thank you for subscribing

  • mooi met oud en nieuw dit 3:38 lol

  • dam no ear plugs

  • i do use earplugs especially made for me they don't have a colour thats why you don't see them.

I would not dare to be so close without earplugs

  • sounds like a v2 german rocket

  • nope V1, the V2 was a intercontinental rocket with a liquid jet engine, the V1 (or Fiseler Fi 103) was powered by a pulse engine like this

  • Great video

can know more thing in life

  • Oh you mean Werner Van Brauns missiles? I ddidnt know they were pulse jet. Thanks, but yes in this case size matters.

  • With proper adjustments of coarse

  • With any possibility could it get a small plane of the ground?

  • how much thrust?

  • this one should be able to give 55 lbs thrust and with an augmentor about 80 lbs but i haven't tried that yet

  • Man, thanks for having one of my videos in your favourites!!!

    How's the pulsejet work going?

    Working?

    Kind regards,

    Bruno

  • I made me another pulsejet but that one is not running yet but its wintertime overhere now so not the right time of year for experimenting with propane

  • Thanks for suscribing to my vids!

    Bruno

  • nice! greats from germany ! german patent !!!!very nice!!!

  • Thx for the comment it was fun to make one!

  • AMAZING!

    Greetings from Brazil.

  • Thx for the comment !!!

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Just curious if you know Ray Lockwood? I worked for Stanley Hiller for several years, and know about the pulse reactor jets and their history and I knew Ray Lockwood and his son about 10 years ago. The original ground effects machine that used the pulse jet is probably still in the Hiller museum tho it's doubtful that many people know what it is.

  • No i don't know any off the persons.

    I Am from the Netehrlands.

  • If you are interested in knowing more about the Hiller/Lockwood pulse reactor and if you want to email me at charlemevans at hotmail dot com, I can probably set you up with Ray Lockwood's last known address. I was curator of the Hiller Museum in the 90s.

  • I will try to mail you

  • good to understand before posting dumbass questions

  • Why dont they water cool these things, like take and put a water jacket around the tube and run a high volume pump to run coolant around it, that way it wouldnt get so damn hot

  • What's the fucken point?

  • Its the plan to push a bike with it later on and its fun making it !

  • what are you using for you ingition? Is it a constant spark?

    Nice welds!

  • The sparkplug only has to give a spark at the start the same goes for the air it's only used at the startup to mix the gas with the air after that the engine runs on itself.

  • After the first explosion you get a vacuum in the combustionchamber the part where the fuelpipipe and sparkplug are mounted.

Fresh air comes in through the short pipe at the rear of the combustiochamber.

The flame is pulled back from the pipe with the ubend.

Propane flows through the fuelpipe and the second explosion follows.

  • This repeats over and over again untill the bottle is empty or the propane is shut down.

  • To create the spark i use an old transformer from a tig weldingmachine that creates high frequency sparks i simply control it with a pushbutton.

  • nice one ! How much Thrust ???

  • 55 lbs thrust

  • mmhh... not bad! is that lpg? have you tried some thrust augmentors? i wanna build a lockwood too!! thanks

  • i haven't tried any augmentors so far but the thrust can go up with almost 40 % then if you need any blueprints of the pulsejets please contact me on my homepage

  • oh thanks man!! i'm gonna contact you soon!! btw is that propane (lpg)? or butane? or Methane? thanks! i really wanna talk to someone keen on pulsejet! :)

  • The gas i am using is propane
