Ok I have an Intel GMA HD (Not the Intel HD on the Sandy Bridge Chips) with a Core i3, and 4GB RAM, and W7 HP 64-bit. Can I run this game? If I can, how smoothly and on what resolution?

Hey guys, I got this broken laptop, that I could fix, and here's it's specs, do you think it'd be worth like 100USD to save?

Will it be able to run Hl2/gmod and other similar games at maybe like 30 fps? on like 1280x720 with medium settings?

@halflifefan84 HL2, and games like that yes(on highest). But, if possible, buy Nvidia or ATI card of the same rang, or even better. Meybe yu could find smaller priced better laptop. Think about getting Nvidia or ATI card very seriously.

@picox98 all of the game is depend on your system not just your ram....gma might need more ram cause onboard graphic use more ram to put it to vram while you r playing games.while ram is just for fast caching so you can short the loading of the game.

why are you telling us to keep all of them low i think i have this graphics card and i can play om all of them high and anti ailsing on without much fps down (it gets laggy when i put dynamic shadows on) it kinda hard 2 shoot with a laptop so i use my xbox 360 controller. dont now if it helps but i got dual core 2 2.1 ghz and 4 gib of ram

@halfhalo33 of course it will get laggy when you turn on to high effect(dynamic shadows on) bcause your cpu freq isnt so fast and its only dual core,all dual core that run high effect will actually suffer bottleneck.hmmm gma that built in(obboard can have anti-aliasing on bcause it cost more vram in use....so you sure you r using gma x4500?

i have this game downloaded on my PC and i have problem...i start the game everything on low 640x480 run smooth fine and after five minutes lag as hell for like 30 sec and then its gone and its repeating that...every five minutes frekin 30 sec lag...i have bought this today for xbox360 and there it runs smooth so i think iam gonna move to xbox...
