Bought this plugin last night. The installation process, applications detected list doesn't recognise Lightroom 3 (3.2 installed) only version 2. Looking for a work around for that. The general feeling from initial use is that by the time Photoshop CS4 and HDR Efex Pro have finished loading 5 exposures and presented the HDR interface to you, you could well have processed two or more sets of images with Photomatrix Pro. Using the same RAW images and the same computer running 64 bit versions.
Does your program allow the use of selecting an area for fine tuning using multiple clicks to select the area vice using the circle and blowing that up to the approximate size you want? For example take set of control points that better select an area (e.g. a rectangle shaped shadow) using 4 or more points that encloses the area you want to modify for better detail? I don't think you should be limited to a circle.
@OreoCookieOreo it's a HDR processing plug-in for photoshop, lightroom and aperture for both windows and mac just like the color efex pro. Nik software is wise to make this as a plug-in than an independent software as it's less clutter when editing photos. Just basically run one program and then pop it up when you need it. very powerful tool.
@Lucaspassmore OreoCookieOreo is right about the ball head it is indeed a Really Right Stuff BH-55. Now for the tripod I am almost certain its a TVC-33 Versa Tripod. The head sells from $355.00 to $575.00 depending on what version (additional accessories) of the head you want. The tripod sells for $925 US. The tripod also may be the TVC-24 Versa which is $910. All can be found at the Really Right Stuff website.
