  • I believe George Younce sang bass for them before the bass singer on this video.

  • Who's introducing this? It looks like a young Arletta Raley.

  • @uthant

    Eva Mae LeFevre

  • Oh, my, this is the group I remember around 1962. Thank you, for uploading this. Brings back so many memories.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this one. I sure hope you post more from this show; would love to hear from all the groups on the old "Gospel Singing Caravan". FIVE STARS

  • Wow this goes way back!! Love it! Burl was a good bass singer.

  • Wonderful. Thank's for sharing.

  • Wow, I've never seen a black and white version of the Blue Ridge quartet!

  • Love to see more footage like this!!

  • I agree JakeFanatic, the Professor IS amazing!!

  • Ed Sprouse was a great tenor....and I like the bass singer regardless of who it is! Basslover!

  • @GospelPhil The bass is Burl Strevel. The pianist, Kenny Gates is a long-time Gospel stalwart who at one point pulled double duty in the BRQ...singing baritone as well as tickling the ivories!

  • Professor-UR AMAZING! Keep 'em Comin'!
