one day they won't be able to find oil with all their drilling, and when that day comes, things are going to get really horrible...I'm sure people will be fighting over what's left of oil, food, clothing, shelter, etc...what did people do before oil? just live off the land...
My husband and I were talking about the collapse back in 2001. We were telling people to get out of debt then, get farming etc. 2005 everyone started to join in.
I did buy collapse today, i have seen half of it and was impressed.
Something drastically has to change by the end of this century... I'm trying to learn how to live my life happily without consuming so much fossil fuels. Increasing demand + decreasing availability = conflict. I think the carbon tax has more to do with peak oil and the depleting energy economy than fake global warming which is a hoax issue to get the public on board. I also have my fingers crossed for fusion power!
I didn't like the movie. The guy presents some facts, and then sneaks some weird, dangerous ideas e.g. 'money is the root of evil'. I didn't quite understand why he believes that nuclear (and other) energy is not profitable?
To me, It seems a distraction from overwhelming debt that's been created, and from fiat currency systems (=even more debt). Yes, he mentioned that, but only as a side note.
Peak oil is a problem, if it's real, but I don't think it's the source of the current situation.
orly? There's also a finite amount of iron. Should we prepare for "peak iron", and does it mean that iron production is a waste of time and energy?! BS!
And, oh, Ruppert also forgot the beginning, when he quoted the laws of thermodynamics, i.e.: "The total entropy of any ISOLATED SYSTEM always increases over time". Earth is not an isolated system.
you're a complete moron, reality hit you in the face and you still couldn't accept it. oh well its better if people like you don't understand anyway, it will help the gene pool of the future.
I ran across an interview with some guy (not Ruppert) on line before we invaded Iraqi in 2003 that explained about the Petro Dollar and the reasons why the Bush gang was insistent on taking down Saddam. I'll check out the Ruppert guy and see if his message is the same. Oh and by the way the US was shut out of the oil field auctions in Iraq this month, they went to China and Russia for drilling and developing.
only thing that I didn't like about the movie, seems he buys into manmade global warming. Otherwise he knows his stuff. Lets build a lifeboat! Metaphorically speaking, reminds me of the Arc. Noah, the world is ending, build a boat. Fast forward, Demcad, the world is ending, there's no boat but get in the raft and hold on.....
Watch the documentary called Denial Stops Here. You can find it right here on youtube. Ruppert's been around for a while exposing these NWO clowns. He does mention global warming in this series of lectures. Very eye-opening stuff, especially since it took place BEFORE all this stuff really started to happen.
I don't recall anything regarding global warming. I don't believe in man made global warming one bit. I do believe though that the earth is going through a cycle. Something that we cannot prevent and just need to live through. Like a cleansing.
OIL is a magical Energy source, if you don't think so, Drive your car for one Gallon, stop and push it back. That's how much Energy was locked in that 1 Gallon of Gas.
Some people are saying the exploding world Population, and even our Arts and Science, are related to the Excess OIL energy.
I agree, I don't know about the better part, never used Hemp, don't know much about it, but any reasonable, REASONABLE, I can't stress that enough, alternative is better than oil right now.
1:16 - Hmm, I wouldn't say we anymore, we want alternative renewable energy but we can't get past they're sustaining of big oil big business. They create it, we buy it and its control is clearly a Monopoly, if that's suitable term.
2:05 - Seems like there's starting to be no other choice but alternative energy, which will mean, once again, certain policies will be put in place to regulate, us.
liked the documentary, but he never talked about algae bio-gasoline.the only reason why this transition to new energies will be bumpy is mainly because of human ignorance.
From wikipedia:
"The United States Department of Energy estimates that if algae fuel replaced all the petroleum fuel in the United States, it would require 15,000 square miles (40,000 km2).This is less than 1⁄7 the area of corn harvested in the United States in 2000."
"the only reason why this transition to new energies will be bumpy is mainly because of human ignorance."
Yeah, and greed. Greed equals control and in this case along with alternative energy solutions, which is what the people wants, there will be something else thrown in there to take more from us. In other words, if you want this new energy source we're going to have to charge you and it won't just be tax dollars. Hell it may be a kidney or your first born, joking LOL, but who knows you know?
At the moment, some laboratories create algae bio-gasoline. Too bad this gasoline cost from $30-$100 per GALLON. It may be possible for some genius to reduce the cost of the bio-gasoline several orders of magnitude so the cost is commercially viable, but we are not there yet.
The world likely reached peak oil back in 2005. However, it's a little more complex than just that. What really has happened is we reached peak "cheap oil" because there is plenty of tar sands oil to keep things rolling for a very long time. But it's oil that requires a lot of processing and therefore it's not the cheap oil we are used to. But the world won't come to an end.
Reggie, I'm glad you liked the film. I liked it as well, though I wasn't unreservedly in support of the film, as you appear to be. A lot of his claims, especially those made toward the political world, are simply unsubstantiated "just so" stories without anything like actual evidence. However, his explanation of peak oil and all of its related consequences was quite good. I think it could have been done better, but I thought he certainly put it together in an understandable way for the layman.
The movie Collapse was just a big "I told you so" by Mike Ruppert, repeating everything he? said five years ago, with no significant updates. While this movie left me disappointed because I did not learn anything new, I do believe firmly that Mike Ruppert deserves a major award for all his efforts over the years, (something more significant than the Nobel Peace Prize). He was right about everything he said.
I second what countryhorsefive wrote. What else to say? Ruppert said in the future the economy will be local. I agree. He said its too late to do anything now. I disagree. You can teach your kids survival skills. You can buy a weekend place where family and friends can camp, fish, hunt, etc. My family did this many years ago when I was growing up. It was great fun too.
The movie will help those who were not listening 5 years ago. It will document how he saw this all coming and hopefully wake a few people up along the way.
hmmm Demcad fall of the republic is much more relevant and you didnt give that a good review it gives us info on who really is running the show
I can asuure you that much more bigger things are going to happen in the US and the world before oil runs out like the dollar collapse and when war breaks out between the US and Iran nobodys will care about oil at @ $300 plus a barrel anyway
this thing is about the new world order and world government
Anyone who uses the words "nutjob" "crazy" "take your meds" or "loon" is most likely paid cointelpro or military psyop. These words are from the script in the military psyop manual on the Delphi Technique... I think its on page 28..LOL. EXPOSED.
Please view this very inspirational video. Had you seen majority of the video and efforts of the 4409 group from Arizona, you will understand the reason behind my efforts to show you this video. Too bad, alot of people still think "Peak Oil" is a THEORY...
It's really simple...watch the production graph over time of ANY OIL FIELD... it grows and eventually declines...That's not a theory, that's an empirical observation.
Global Peak Oil is when the sum of all (4000 fields) are Peaked.... some are way past peak, some are still approach their own peak, but in concert...Global Oil Production Peaks...that is an observation, not a theory.
Agreed.I think that is the real reason why no new refinery has been built since the 60's-70's.The oil companies know they could never recoop the money it costs to build one.
Global warming, green economy, etc. Now is the time that the big money players are positioning to take over the worlds future energy technologies.Watch what the big players are gonna try to take over(with the help of govts. of course) They act like they are sincere in the climate change department but what really is going on is what I call " The Big Grab "
Carter made a deal with the devil to get elected. He attached his wagon to David Rockefeller and Zbignew. Brezinski, (or however the hell its' spelled.) A neo con to the core.
Production peaked in the USA in 72, just as Hubbert predicted.... however, Discovery (which always preceeds production) peaked way earlier (though I don't know off top of my head).
Interesting film. But there there is one reason why I dont like the peak oil theory. You cannot know if the theory is 100% true because companies/corporations have always limited natural resources to raise prices. It's the oldest trick in the book. Also peak oil is only a symptom of a bad monetary system. Watch the film on youtube "Money as Debt" to see what Im talking about.
HI Springboardshop - I'm sorry i couldn't get the comments box to accept the link etc. I sent a PM to demcad so he could post it on his vid or sidebox or something. (I should have sent you a pm too since you were the one asking)
Anyway - glad you found it etc. I quite like mike ruppert - seems like a decent chap - even though he is ex-cop.
zappos, for the time being back to dollars in Iraq. Iran is selling their oil in Yen and in Euros. Its just a matter of time that the dollar will not be the reserve currency. Just a few days ago Several oil producing countries in the gulf formed a monetary union. They intend on selling their oil in that currency in the coming years. The dollar is doomed.
ball, the price of oil has fallen indeed, because of the bad economy, a drop in demand. This has taken the pressure of off production for the time being.
ball, They claimed speculation. It may indeed have played a part in causing the high prices back in July '08. Oil fields nevertheless have a limited supply. They do reach a peak of production and then plateau for a period of time and then production declines. This has been observed in all oil fields thus far. theoildrum(dot)com has info on this. chrismartension(dot)com crash course chap 17 I believe has info on this.
boohoo, swearing a little. You are so simple minded that you can't get the message and my words were to one individual (not DEMCAD). That dollar in your pocket is going to be just another piece of paper before you know it. Way before oil could ever be at it's peak. The heard is about to be thinned but people like you think it can't happen yet it is happening before your eyes. When the banking system is shut down and changed millions in this country WILL STARVE. Can you say genocide?
Hi Demcad - thanks for the recommendation, very informative. Matt Simmons has been saying the same thing for years, and having the ideas summarised in a single documentary focuses the mind. I like how he describes being isolationist as counter productive - being part of a supportive community is the best way to survive. Also, he says the collapse will actually be a decline over several years, not a discrete event.
Anyway, you're looking smart - good luck with the job hunting.
Yup, going to share this widely. Five stars and all that. Pretty wild watching all the fish jumping from one frying pan to another here in France, or are they rats leaving the sinking ship? I try to stay out of their way and pop in and out so they can't see me laughing. Then, I get dizzy as I swirl around, doing down the drain with them in this toilet! Wheeeee!!
As I explained on my blog, I recommended it more as a drama than a documentary. His compelling story and presentation made the emotional journey a worthwhile experience. Read my blog if you want more of any explanation.
I think it's funny that the same environmentalist who protested nuclear power plants are the same ones who are now saying that we need nuclear power to save the planet from climate change.
Actually, Demcad, peak oil is a contrived situation. Having spent the larger part of my career in the energy business, I can tell you this first hand. We have coal, from which many energy products can be made and shale oil as well. The media and the environmentalist are merely useful idiots, as Marx might say, in putting forward the agenda of peak oil. It is really about controlling the mass of people and limiting population growth.
You forgot to mention how the film made him appear like an emotionally unstable nut -- whether he really is I can't say. I have some major and minor disagreements with Ruppert, but I still thought the film was provocative. I'd rate it 6/10.
i was wondering do they do anything about thous gaping large caverns they leave when they pump out all the oil . do they fill it with something or are we all walking around waiting for these huge sink holes to swallow us up please respond if anyone has the answer thanks
The environmentalists are the main obstacle to oil exploration.
There are huge oil reserves in the U.S. and elsewhere and the only thing stopping us from drilling are the MASSIVE regulations that environmental organizations have gotten enacted to make it UN-profitable for anyone to get to it. At the same time, these climate kooks won't let us build nuclear power plants which are benign to the environment. Politics and enviro-tards are the main obstacle to our energy problem. PERIOD!
His movie from the sounds of it like a bunch of scaremongering garbage. I might watch it out of boredom, but Ill put in the same area I put Michael moore, propoganda fantasy.
It's very difficult to make a 3 to 5 minute Youtube video with in-depth analysis. If I sat down for 20 minutes going into details about everything, no one would watch my videos.
My goal is to rise awareness. If no one watches, there's no point.
Actually Reggie I wish your videos were the full 10 minutes. Everytime I see you make a 5 minute video im dissapointed because while I may not agree with a lot of the stuff you say your easy to listen to. Im sure most of your viewers would enjoy longer videos.
Touche' but do you speak Ebonics or is that just a lame attempt at a racial put down? When will YOU people get it? No matter what you say or do to make yourself feel superior you're no better than the people you hold in contempt because you're BROKE. Quote Trotsky, Lenin, Stalin, WHOMEVER. To wealthy whites who hold power YOU are not any better than blacks or Mexicans or any other minority. You want to revolt for THAT reason only. Just so you YOU can feel superior too based on color. Kill yaself
" The forum concluded that Respondent was liable for Rupperts sexual harassment and awarded Complainant $2,713.42 in back wages and $125,000 for emotional and mental suffering damages. "
The oil industry is so full of lies. North Sea oil has traditionally had underestimated reserves because the companies didn't want to be taxed on what they had.
That said Shell the other year overestimated its reserves probably to keep its share price high.
I think we have less reserves than official figures. 'They'll' be ready when it runs out. We won't!
Just as the current existing system will collapse, solutions to these problems will be found and advances made in alternate energy sources and their infrastructures.
And its all due to Bible Prophecy, Gods' ordainments and judgements, and especially of the coming time period known as the 7 year Tribulation period or Daniels' 70th Week. Nothing Can Change the Shape of Things to Come.
i'm not worried about oil for transportation, what will be life changing is running out of oil for manufacturing plastics and chemicals. some recycling could occur for plastics from landfills i guess but...look around your room, all that plastic crap from china, it's all oil.
Look around the country, when the credit market breaks down in the next few years you will have nothing to buy products made with oil and therefore there will no longer be a very high demand for the stuff. Fact is, the value of our currency will be gone long before the oil will even be close to running out.
Ruppert is a fear monger. You should be fearing the credit and banking system in the USA. When the dollar tanks the world economy WILL grind to a halt.
How are we going to have a recovery when the manufacturing base of the USA has and is being moved overseas? If we produce less and less every year how are we going to recover? If the Fed prints money and devalues what we have in the bank, how are we having a recovery. The credit market are dead for the average person and many small businesses. With this how do we have a recovery? Is your job safe? We are even importing food that we use to grow ourselves. I wish I had the drugs that you are on!
Many French companies realized by much earlier this year that they'd goofed big time by offshoring. I dunno what they are gonna do -- they are so "off" in some ways, such as introducing "open space" offices here about 9 years ago big time.
also, fear mongering is, in my opinion, scaring the shit out of people with junk science and falsehoods. The economic plight of the USA is right there in plain sight for all to see. Most, like you, choose to ignore the reality of the shit hole we are in. Go to the store and look at where the products were made. Go to the industrial park and look at all the empty space. Look at the financial health of the core industries. Look at the dollar and crap going-on on Wall Street. Justified Factual fear
people did ok without oul for 6thousand years , i think people can manage with out and will always find ways to make food and other,, the technology is there , the BIG OIL dont want us to know about ..
They survived but with much lower life expectancies and very low standards of living. And what is this mythical alternative energy that the evil Oil Companies have kept under wrap?
Why would they want a cheaper fuel? People that think the oil companies (which by the way are owned and controlled by the money trust) would ever want cheap energy. Tesla developed wireless power supplies in the early 1900's. JP Morgan stopped it since it could not be metered.
You are either a total moron or a Jewish shill trolling the internet.
You are a fucking idiot. Cheap fuel makes the production and delivery of goods and services cheaper and does equal a higher standard of living because instead of spending $200 a month on gas, $400 on food and $300 on utilities I could be spending $500 for them all thus giving me more money for life. You are a stupid motherfucker.
In poor countries cheap fuel would allow them to feed themselves and create an economy. Which would also allow them to educate themselves.
The guy is just trying to talk about his thoughts on a movie and his views on it. To respond to someone with that language is ignorant, if you don't like something discuss it why do you need to attack it. Chill out.
I was responding to the idiot poweroftheglory with my naughty launguage. Not DEMCAD. I like DEMCAD, that is why I subscribe. You should read a little more thoroughly next time.
I read your posts quite thoroughly. While I agree with most of what you say, you present yourself as an idiot. You belittle those who disagree with you instead of engaging them constructively, and love to use profanity, a sign of shallowness on your part. You hate Jews too. Jesus was one. Just my opinion and observations here, feel free to unload with the profanity now, if you want to.
I don't hate Jews, I have a problem with those Jews that control our President, Fed/banking industry, media, print newspapers and news mags. They have organizations that attack the American way of life. ACLU, AIPAC, Southern Poverty Law etc. Surprisingly smallest minority religion controls the USA. It is a fact that Israel has people that troll these sites to comment on these issues. The guy I lost my temper with was one of them. Guess I hate Zionist Jews and their helpers.
And? What are you going to do? Its clear you know the targets, you know your way around governments and the various secret allegiances they have. Your ready to stop talking and start doing don't you think? No more Youtube unless its to inform the public or post progress, is that reasonable?
As long as the sheeple think Obama is their problem and people like Ruppert tell you to worry about oil then this is going no where. Follow the money, governments are puppet shows. I am here trying to get people to look at the big picture. No one seems to see behind the curtain. One thing is for sure, I don't think anyone can tell you where the true control comes from. Even people here who see something is wrong cling to symptom of the problem rather than looking for the source.
@smhutson , Well the source of the problem will always be what people choose it to be, for some Its one political party or the other, some will believe its the Devil or gods wrath, some will blame illegal immigrants , or secret societies like Illuminati, etc. people will choose whatever demon that serves their beliefs and causes. the root of all evil is simple, its Money, corporations want it and control our Gov. and do their best to dis-inform the public, to blame everything else.
exactly, that is my point and most of the people watch this video and stop thinking. No one thinks past what is presented. That is why nothing will be done until it is too late. Disinformation is 90% truth and 10% bullshit and it works like a charm. Ruppert states the obvious, oil is in everything but doesn't look at the big picture for a reason and the reason is they don't want you thinking about the big picture. Look here not there. People must start at the birth of money and industry to see.
When I first saw Ruppert I was fascinated and I read everything I could get my hands on. I have seen it all and I have tied his presentation together with everything I have seen. He may be misinformed or a mis-informer in any event he is throwing a lot of people off track. I believe that if more people looked into how the industrial revolution was financed and who the players were including how the money trust started that people around the country would have a holy shit moment and see the light
I do agree there is more to the story than what he's presenting, but everyone comes from their own perception of where the rubber hits the road. The key right now is preparation. That "holy shit" moment may never come for a lot of people. As Ruppert stated himself, its' like being on the titanic with different groups of people around you. Some believe in what the captain is saying, some are doubtful, but open to learning more and some are readying the lifeboats. Who would you try to save?
Unfortunately it will come for most of the people. People need to look at what this country needs to produce in order for all 330 million people to be able to afford food and shelter at a minimum. All of the laws being past now are against the peoples interests. There are also Bills that will make a garden illegal don't even mention having livestock. TPTP will shut off the money and food and the US will see chaos. As long as our future labor is given to the bankers we are screwed.
there is no man behind the curtain, in fact there is no curtain at all, there are just so many shows going on at the same time that people are overloaded and can't decipher what is relevant and what isn't. The end up watching the meaningless shows. There is no NWO, only tribes of people working in their own self interest, just as it has always been.
Oil can be made from coal, its not a new or complicated technology. If the USA only used oil made from the coal in the USA, this country would be energy self sufficient. We would not use up all the coal in the USA for hundreds of years.
There is no energy shortage, unless the shortage is caused by man.
The issue isn't the amount of oil, but the energy cost of extracting it. We could survive on coal, but it will come at the price of greatly diminished quality of life.
Watch the "The Most IMPORTANT Video You'll Ever See " here on youtube and they take this coal reserve lie as an example for people who do not understand the exponential function of growth.
Hey what is this? Demcads youtube channel or a meeting of Americas most dumbest
Check into abiotic oil formation theory and how the Russians have applied it in practice. There could be a 'peak' but that peak will be caused by the artificial scarcity created by the oil companies trying to keep their hold on power.
BS, even assuming that abiotic oil is real that still doesn't disprove peak oil. If the process takes millions of years then it isn't anymore renewable than diamonds are. No one is going to benefit from a peak oil world.
This is why having only 500 characters is sometimes not a blessing. I'm sorry you misunderstood my comment. I said that there really could be a peak caused by a shortage. However, my contention is that the peak will be because oil companies have a vested interest in not drilling or trying to prove abiotic oil formation is real. Therefore, they are artificially keeping the price high and creating a condition where a peak moment could actually occur. Hope this is clearer.
the world is fucked up and america just goes first like always, europe follows. look how big companies make politics, this is democracy? where lobbysts can change the rules despite the fact for example farmers are grounding?!? if this is as bad here in europe (monsanto) and it will when people have less money like in america i will go on the street.

Watch the documentary called Denial Stops Here. You can find it right here on youtube. Ruppert's been around for a while exposing these NWO clowns.

3:25 - Military Industrial Complex?

liked the documentary, but he never talked about algae bio-gasoline.the only reason why this transition to new energies will be bumpy is mainly because of human ignorance.
From wikipedia:
"The United States Department of Energy estimates that if algae fuel replaced all the petroleum fuel in the United States, it would require 15,000 square miles (40,000 km2).This is less than 1⁄7 the area of corn harvested in the United States in 2000."
mrblue19 2 years ago
"the only reason why this transition to new energies will be bumpy is mainly because of human ignorance."
Yeah, and greed. Greed equals control and in this case along with alternative energy solutions, which is what the people wants, there will be something else thrown in there to take more from us. In other words, if you want this new energy source we're going to have to charge you and it won't just be tax dollars. Hell it may be a kidney or your first born, joking LOL, but who knows you know?
EyeJelly 2 years ago

Worse is DISCOVERY PEAKED ALONG TIME AGO.

Still peak oil is a (scientific) theory.
The point you quoted is a fraction of it and is very straightforward.
TheCZMan 2 years ago
Interesting film. But there there is one reason why I dont like the peak oil theory. You cannot know if the theory is 100% true because companies/corporations have always limited natural resources to raise prices. It's the oldest trick in the book. Also peak oil is only a symptom of a bad monetary system. Watch the film on youtube "Money as Debt" to see what Im talking about.

zappos, for the time being back to dollars in Iraq. Iran is selling their oil in Yen and in Euros. Its just a matter of time that the dollar will not be the reserve currency. Just a few days ago Several oil producing countries in the gulf formed a monetary union. They intend on selling their oil in that currency in the coming years. The dollar is doomed.

IDK is gas at the pump still at 5 dollars per gallon?
BALLSDEEPINYO 2 years ago
ball, the price of oil has fallen indeed, because of the bad economy, a drop in demand. This has taken the pressure of off production for the time being.
jimbobubbadj 2 years ago
I want to agree with you but do you remember the industry's reason for 5+ dollars per gallon was?
BALLSDEEPINYO 2 years ago
ball, They claimed speculation.

Portions of your comments rely on emotion-words, than than analysis-words.
There is no analysis behind this recommendation: you approve of his "one sided presentation" because it makes it "stronger."

PERIOD!

We won't!

pentel1911 2 years ago
Look around the country, when the credit market breaks down in the next few years you will have nothing to buy products made with oil and therefore there will no longer be a very high demand for the stuff. Fact is, the value of our currency will be gone long before the oil will even be close to running out.
Ruppert is a fear monger. You should be fearing the credit and banking system in the USA. When the dollar tanks the world economy WILL grind to a halt.
smhutson 2 years ago
I'm taking a longer time horizon into account. I fully understand the current economic plight, but at some point there will be a recovery.
and just for the record, you can't label someone a fear monger and in the next sentence tell people what they should be fearing.
pentel1911 2 years ago
How are we going to have a recovery when the manufacturing base of the USA has and is being moved overseas? If we produce less and less every year how are we going to recover? If the Fed prints money and devalues what we have in the bank, how are we having a recovery. The credit market are dead for the average person and many small businesses. With this how do we have a recovery? Is your job safe? We are even importing food that we use to grow ourselves. I wish I had the drugs that you are on!

EyeJelly 2 years ago
As long as the sheeple think Obama is their problem and people like Ruppert tell you to worry about oil then this is going no where. Follow the money, governments are puppet shows. I am here trying to get people to look at the big picture. No one seems to see behind the curtain. One thing is for sure, I don't think anyone can tell you where the true control comes from. Even people here who see something is wrong cling to symptom of the problem rather than looking for the source.
smhutson 2 years ago 2
@smhutson , Well the source of the problem will always be what people choose it to be, for some Its one political party or the other, some will believe its the Devil or gods wrath, some will blame illegal immigrants , or secret societies like Illuminati, etc. people will choose whatever demon that serves their beliefs and causes. the root of all evil is simple, its Money, corporations want it and control our Gov. and do their best to dis-inform the public, to blame everything else.
gilgamesh1962 2 years ago
exactly, that is my point and most of the people watch this video and stop thinking. People must start at the birth of money and industry to see.
smhutson 2 years ago
Watch Ruppert's documentary from 2005 called Denial Stops Here. You can find it on youtube. It ties the whole thing together.
Shameonfed 2 years ago
When I first saw Ruppert I was fascinated and I read everything I could get my hands on. I have seen it all and I have tied his presentation together with everything I have seen. He may be misinformed or a mis-informer in any event he is throwing a lot of people off track. I believe that if more people looked into how the industrial revolution was financed and who the players were including how the money trust started that people around the country would have a holy shit moment and see the light
smhutson 2 years ago
I do agree there is more to the story than what he's presenting, but everyone comes from their own perception of where the rubber hits the road. The key right now is preparation. That "holy shit" moment may never come for a lot of people. As Ruppert stated himself, its' like being on the titanic with different groups of people around you. Some believe in what the captain is saying, some are doubtful, but open to learning more and some are readying the lifeboats. Who would you try to save?
Shameonfed 2 years ago
Unfortunately it will come for most of the people. People need to look at what this country needs to produce in order for all 330 million people to be able to afford food and shelter at a minimum. All of the laws being past now are against the peoples interests. There are also Bills that will make a garden illegal don't even mention having livestock. TPTP will shut off the money and food and the US will see chaos. As long as our future labor is given to the bankers we are screwed.

The return on energy with oil made from coal is very low.

As long as oil can be easily pumped from the ground, yes, it would be easier to do that.
But the questions was, Are we running out of oil?
Because ALL the oil needed for an economy can be made from coal, for hundreds of years into the future, than we aren't running out of oil are we?

The issue isn't the amount of oil, but the energy cost of extracting it. We could survive on coal, but it will come at the price of greatly diminished quality of life.

Can you please explain to me how having more oil than is needed can cause diminished quality of life?

Watch the "The Most IMPORTANT Video You'll Ever See " here on youtube and they take this coal reserve lie as an example for people who do not understand the exponential function of growth.
