Yuk! another dreadfull arcade emulator version of street fighter 1 :-(
I actually own the arcade machine of this game and it runs so much smoother than this and all the other emulator versions uploaded. Even the music sounds distorted. This is soooo jerky and not true to the arcade version.
I've uploaded the "real" Arcade soundtrack on my site, recorded directly from the arcade board's soundchips along with pics of my machine,...take a look :-)

Wow... This gives me lots of memory for me, as this version came out during my secondary school time... Dat time this game was so popular, now look back at the graphic... I never tot it was like this, really sucks, haha!! It also means dat during old time, people is not so demanding compare to current situation.
well you gotta remember this was the FIRST. back then, video games weren't nearly as advanced. i give this game a thumbs up for what it caused in the long run for this series
Actually the game is great, and represents a higher level of genius for it's time than the sequel did little spoiled short sighted child. It takes more ingenuity to invent a car than to add an accessory to it.
Man, Capcom should make Street-Fighter HD Remix. Remake this one, reimagine al these Characters and give them Supers. Oh, and they should make Lee, Chun-li father and say that he was Gen's student to fit in the story and be canon.
Oh look...it didn't change much through out the years. Ryu is still cheap and people can still spam fire balls.
