  • What the hell is wrong with the prop?

  • @theflyingace12 .........Digital effect

  • Siinä Spitti ja hurri sais niin tupaan jos head to head

  • can you explain what that light colored framework around the engine is? Is its purpose to support the cowling only? I believe the diagonal member seen near the firewall is part the engine mount is it not? thanks

  • @jtflyer

Its just that, framework to support the skin. The Yak-9's engine mounts is indeed the diagonal crossmember. You cannot see the rest of the engine mount as it is under the engine.

  • haha floppy propellers

  • The scoop on the top is appropriate for a late Yak-9 without the chin radiator. Check out the Yak-9U at the Museum of Flight.

  • Distorted prop, shutter speed too fast.

  • Too bad they added the scoop on the top.. It was perfectly fine before !!

  • @GOZR Didn't have a choice, that's how Allison's get air to the carb. The original engines for Yak's are made from unobtainium.

  • @klesmer

No, i know that plane very well, i flew it and worked on, The scoop is a mistake and false believed.

  • @GOZR Don't know man, every other allison powered Yak around has the air intake in the top. Merlins is on the bottom.

  • its cool how the camera frame rate makes the props look funny

  • now that's just cool!
