I remember watching this with my father I love all of them but Pavs was definitely the greatest the last 100 years we had recording of others and bootlegs from Germany , Italy, France, etc hope a great talent comes from Lithuania Russia Belarus etc in college my mom got a ride from a weird looking guy in London Leicaster? I think ?, back to her flat it was some famous Shiek back then who use to throw money out of his car to strangers, please anyone who has a similar story from London in 50-60's
I am so happy and grateful for have been born in this time and be able to hear and see these three great singers. This is what makes opera grand. Its their first time together, and it lasted for a long time delighting us with their performances. Thank you fo much Valdezalcantara. GBY
RIP to and the love of my live GRAN. What a song to love and have in your hart. To the Tenor's thank u for giveing me and my gran this time we spent lising to us.
So much testosterone on one stage!! Zubin, Luciano, Jose, Placido... interacting with the audience synergystically... ahhhh Heaven! Think of the cultural goodwill with Italian, Spanish, Indian Parsi, interacting with Americans - nothing like a live performance! This is classical music at its finest, an explosion of intensity and artistry - so satisfying - like a deep orgasm.
@shetaz905 because I love it. Don't need to be so jumpy. It's just funny that they're chatting on stage ... I tried to imagine what they were saying ... make it something funny. Everybody loosen up! I love Puccini and I love these tenors, they're huge, but this doesn't mean we must loose our sense of humor.
Amazing how three voices goes together, each one is a pure artist but when they sing together that makes me lost in space. Too bad we have lost that beautiful Pavarotti voice :(
for the people who really understands opera, placido domingo is better than pavarotti because he can sing everything he wants. pavarotti is famous because he sang pop, but placido is the best. trust me, i've seen so many times these two singing different operas
@MySpring75 friend dont despair you can listen to pavarotti anytime ,hes eternal in our hearts,he was born and lived in the right period where his voice can be recorded and saved for ever i love him too ,but he is here with us forever
Only thing that would have made this better would be if they got Bocelli in on it, too. I know not many people believe him to be in their league, but I do.
@Grayfox4 yes just O_O OMG i can't fined other words to describe it amazing is nothing near Pavarotti, his voice makes him present everywhere and forever.
@SirCadogon4 with the exception of Bocelli, they were all great and at the same level , but Borling was in a league by himself. Pavoratti's own words described Jussi Bjorling as the best
what we and the music world are missing, not a religious man but this makes me think,,, there are gifts from god, and these gentlemen were at the head of the queque. bet the pav man is in charge of the choir. thanks for the music and the songs, voice of an angel xxxx
Sometimes context helps. Watching one of these singers in costume, make up with set and story of course. Gives more of an understanding and there for impact is more. Great performance....as always.

As for Luciano out shining the others well it is in Italian and he was born there, so the tongue lies in him.
thanks for the info James , and for correcting me :).
God, when I watched this and witnessed the beauty of the Three Tenors' relationships to one another, I was suddenly struck full force with the fact that Pavarotti was gone. When I first got into opera, he had already been dead for several years, so I never really thought about the fact that he wasn't alive anymore--I just considered him as a character, sort of, in the great book of history. But when I watched the three of them together, enjoying themselves...I don't know, I just began to cry.
JAJAJAJAJA VAYA QUE AQUI SE HABLAN ESTUPIDECES, COMO HAY GENTE PENDEJA QUE SE ATREVE A DECIR QUE DOMINGO ES SUPERIOR DOS O TRES NIVELES SUPERIOR JAJAJAJAJAJA VAYA ESTUPIDO MIRA MI QUERIDO AMIGO PARA TI TENGO ALGO, VETE A LA MIERDA

Holy **** my eardrums almost exploded when the three sang together!
The way they improvised that ending was amazing, only true talent explains something like that...
