seen this movie close to 30 times. I wouldnt say Goon and Sonny are his friends. To me, he's so lonely, anyone who agrees to put up with him is a friend. I mean, he is a crappy friend, no less. And they know it. But BRILLIANT review. I also like after the bowling alley scene, in the parking lot, the GIVE LIFE billboard standing behind them.

Just saw that movie for the first time last week and fell in love. Forced my son to watch it a few days ago - he's a sensitive ass hole that somehow you can't help but like like the protaganist. Anyway, I understood this character and the girl and loved the irreverant, random humor in it. Two thumbs up.

I loved what you had to say about the film. I just noticed as I was looking on IMDB that Vincent did a lot jobs on the film, but he didn't actually edit it. It appears Curtiss Clayton did, and as a result we have this wonderful film.
