gotta like mark sanders. i'd love to see aftermarket foxforx-style suspension tubes with 4in-plus travel, front and rear, w/a rear lockout. then it would be perfect
Thank you for posting this. I bought my Strida 1 last week, a UK original, frame no. 16---, made in (or near) Nottingham. In perfect shape, previous owner never used it. Absolutely thrilled with both the bicycle and the video.
This video was made 20+ years ago. Since then Strida has evolved from the Mk1 shown here, to mark 2, 3, and latest Mk5+. It has since sold approx 200,000. It now sells in 27 countries and sales are going annually.
It could be argued that Strida was too radical when it was 1st introduced in 1987, but since then the benefits of cycling and inparticular folding bicycles has been recognised. However, this market is still growing.
i have one of these strida 1 series and i believe these series 1 is the most durable ever made. am very happy with my strida baby

@RaidenXyooj No, not when you consider:
Belt drive
Unique award winning design (& not using cheap bicycle parts)
Never carry as it rolls when folded - like an umbrella with wheels ...
from $495 usd
