Can't reply in your language comrade,and I dont know what you're saying here, but earlier comments from you suggest that you would have been with Franco.But maybe if he'd been stopped by the western democracies - who stood back and let the Spanish government and the International Brigades get routed - Hitler would have been stymied too. Your country's history may then have been happier.

Franco's victory heartened the Nazis and the persecution of Poles,Czechs ,Jews etc is testimony to this.

The photograph at 1:17 of this video shows my grandfather, George Murry from Aberdeen at the left hand side facing the camera (without hat. He served in spain with his sister and brother and was shot in the chest by a sniper but survived (just as well for me!). I grew up knowing many vets from the 15th Brigade, they still kept that passion for Spain and for freedom into their old age.
