Tries really hard to be like saving private Ryan. The long cuts, the mood, put if the director put just a little more money towards the editing (the tank shell has a delay, brightness from the gun flare). It would have been a better movie.
There are only 2 works of media that have ever made me cry uncontrollably in my entire life. Tchaikovsky's Dance of the Flowers and Children of Men. This scene was so beautiful that began to think about the things we for granted. Whether it be electricity or the cry of a baby in its mother's arms. I only wish there were more works of art like this.

Great scene, but its kinda fucked up at the end cuz you know all the civilians inside are probably dead.

The precision with which this film was shot, is nothing short of miraculous. Editing, cinematography...just brilliant.
