For five extra bucks, your buying a controller that breaks in two weeks. It even has the trigger rumble, right beside the microphone so your voice sounds like a dying duck with squirrel aids. It also comes with horrible triggers, that are unreliable and pinch your fingers! Your also buying a controller that has led, led that is not properly expanded making it look cheap, and corny. Your also buying a corded Controller, that has shoe lace wrapped around it, also with grips that .. um do nothing?

This is a shitty controller. It's small, flat, the buttons and triggers and bumpers offer a lacking tactile experience, the extra buttons are the size of a "factory default reset button" on consumer electronics that you would use a paper clip to poke. On top of that, it's wired. And the bumper buttons are flat and rectangular and not curved along the body at all (VERY uncomfortable). I used it once and put it back in the box and will be throwing it in the closet. Doesn't feel CHEAP; just shitty.

The so called beneficiary "combat buttons" are also placed in unnatural positioning of the hand. The current placement of those buttons forces the player's hands to loosen his/her gripping of the controller. The spacing area between the bumpers and triggers should also have not been designed. They should have stayed with the Microsoft's default controller's format for the trigger and bumper placement. And again, IMO, the Mad Catz's Game Pad Pro had better ergonomic with triggers and bumpers.

You'd be wrong; looks are deceiving. It feels nothing like the standard controller. It's like they stuck handles on a deck of cards. It's small and has none of the curves of the standard controller. It's difficult and uncomfortable to hold (especially long term). The bumpers suck. The d-pad sucks. The ABXY buttons feel terrible. I heard the bad reviews and bought it anyway... boy, I should have listened to everyone. I regret the purchase.

Personally, I would have wanted my combat controller to have smaller spaces between the bumpers and triggers, and having lower placement of the combat buttons. The space between the bumper and the trigger can cost precious seconds of differences between shooting and throwing grenade. And the combat buttons should really be lowered more toward the end where your middle finger rests at.

Otherwise, this is a fairly decent controller with feel good grips.
