I don't think the 3-carbon pyruvate automatically goes into the Kreb's Cycle... It needs to be "groomed." Because one carbon is released as CO2, then oxidizes NAD+ to NADH, and finally coenzyme A is joined to these 2-carbon molecules to form acetyl CoA. This is what enters the Krebs, not the two 3-carbon pyruvate groups.

and ADP + 2 Pyruvate go into the citric acid cycle ?

then the cylce needs N-A-D-H to be done, and then it moves to the ETC where it ( what is this it ? ) removes hydrogen, then we get the ATPs..
