  • Begs for HD!

  • One day, I'm gonna be in Monument Valley. I'll watch the sun go down while listening to Ennio Morricone's music. And after that, I'm ready to die. :D

  • The music and scenery both are just beautiful! I've done a lot of traveling in my life and I think I have been to Monument Valley. I was too young to remember it, though. I would love to see it again someday!

  • Beautiful music. Beautiful land. I love living in Arizona. i would really like to get my Jeep up there and do some trailing, but I'm not sure how the Natives would feel about that. my friend went up there in his land rover a few months back, and came back with a peppered side panel. :-/ i have best of intentions. i just want to trail. maybe camp, but not if I'm going to be assaulted...

  • Reminds me of my Good Friend Roy Nez.. from the Chinle area,....But alas, it's been to long since I spoke with Him......Think I'm over due... Hope he and his Family are Well!!

  • Great video !!

  • What is the name of the music and whom composed this. It is very tranquil and soothing. The images speak to ones soul. Thank You

  • Very well done. I just got back from Monument Valley and posted a video on You Tube showing many of the sites in your video. I missed the hole in the rock at 2:45. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • 0:00 - 0:05 that looks like a giant asshole

  • I took my Wife & Mother Inlaw with me through there several years ago while on vacation! What a beautiful area to visit! Back in the mid 1980's, (for work) I use to dread running in the desert southwest US,..Heh, After a while I started to realy pay attention to the sites & sounds of the Desert Southwest. Now I miss it more than ever! So peaceful,....So beautiful in many ways!

Sometimes you have to realy wake up & smell the roses so to speak! Thank You for sharing this with all of us!

  • im going to see this place next year thanks to your great video ...america truley has some amazing parks thanks again...

  • omg! i sooo envy you!, i would love to go there!

  • Just toured this beautiful landscape as part of a Southwest vacation! There is,indeed, something very majestic and spiritual about these ancient sandstone monoliths in the flat desertlands of Arizona and Utah! I took a great deal of double exposures here... side by side shots, to convert into anaglyphic 3D! They look incredible! Just the way I remember them!

  • Lived near here for about 9 months and enjoyed visiting it . Even flew over it! Have friends there I would love to see again. Thanks!!

  • you can feel the spirit of this place, hope to one day return

  • i wish i could go there..so beautiful, none of my friends are into this kind of beauty ..i really want to go to places like these with people who enjoy and appreciate this stunning landscape

  • great place to visit someday. thanks for posting. any chance you could send me the music to email?

  • Wonderful place to visit someday. Thanks for allowing me to view these spectacular pictures until then. You are an inspiration to the world.

  • Was this Valley used in movies, it looks like scenes from John Ford westerns.

  • Yes, Monument Valley has been used in many movies, especially John Ford westerns. It's also been used in a large number of commercials.

  • as a child running around at my grandmothers house I use to look toward the ranger station and think when they will build a theme park.(When you look down the valley you could see the houses and the road that leads to the houses)Now when ever i go home, the motel is just an eye sore.I mean everthing is in its nature except this big building.I just came from there yesterday and know i might be going back and sell handmade dine' jewelries in a couple days and maybe i will see you there.

  • beautiful pictures! the place of native americans! one day i will go there! please someone tell me the name of th song!

  • i go here like every year. the only thing that really sucks is that they had an amazing campground with s SPECTACULAR view but they tore it down to make room for a hotel. not the campground is just like 3 portapottys, some picnic tables, and dirt. you just park and pitch your tent wherever. :(

  • Don't forget that Navajo time is not the same as daylight savings in the states. I beleive N. time is one hour later. Be sure to check before you go to national parks there. some are closed until may, etc.

  • Awesome pictures and great music! Always watching this video when I am trying to relax.

    Thank you for this video!

  • Wonderful images and music.

    Thank you

  • Thanks for your kind comment.

  • love the vid. :D

  • @RobVG what are the rules in monument valley in regards to climbing the rocks?, cause i've always wanted to either climb one of the tall rocks for that moment or drive on a cruiser through the valley and stop by the road to take in the scenery, but not sure if your allowed to do, cause i'm from the UK see ;)

  • I went to Monument Valley on a day trip when I was in Las Vegas about 5 years ago. I was spellbound by its natural beauty. This is one place I hope that the man will never ruin. I wouldn't mind going back someday.

  • Good luck getting buried there! like I said on another video its not that fascinating I grew up here its actually quite boring and way over commercialized. I honestly think that the Navajos are exploiting their heritage as a tourist attraction "Come to Monument Valley and see an authentic Indian!" find a prettier place to exploit and leave MV alone.

  • I understand you saying that it's boring and that the Navajos are exploiting their heritage. But for me, I live in Florida and every couple of years we go on vacation for a few weeks out west and we just love what we see. Imagine living in the flat forest as we do and then we're in the Big Sky Country for a few days. All that dry treeless out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere but we love New Mexico and Arizona and Colorado but we go home...

  • I also grew up in the area, actually Red Mesa, Arizona which is a short drive southwest of the four corners. The sun used to set everynight behind the pillars of monument valley,it was stunning. Whats going on out there is sad, but it doesnt mean that you cant appreciate the beauty of the land. After all the land is what inspired the native americans spiritual passion in the first place. I feel very sorry for you. Passionless is no way to go through life.

  • Native American here I like the comment you posted here about MV and the Navajos ha ha

The Navajos are trying to attract tourist because they need the money but its what we have to do to earn a living because there is very little jobs here you said you grew up there and its very boring yes ha ha.

Navajos today are trying to live a life style they see on TV and they are for getting about there heritage and thats a big upset for me.

  • i was there this summer and all i can say is it's amazing!I want to be burried there when i die!
