I used it in the clean channel. Yes, could use it in an overdrive channe too if you want, and you could use it to overdrive that channel. It adds almost no distortion of its own though.
When I want a less clean sound I use my own The Fillmore Pedal that I designed myself. If you listen to some of my newer recordings on my channel page, I use The Fillmore a lot.
