  • Does anyone know if there is footage of Prophet/Edgar Cacey doing Yours Is No Disgrace by Yes? They did this song all the time at L'Amour in Brooklyn and I remember seeing them do it so many times. It was one of their best covers. I'd love to see and hear it again!

  • Yes...in this vid

bass and guitar player were in the original Prophet with Ted Poley on drums and the now deceased Dean Fasano on lead vocals...

  • aor does not get better than this really! used to play this LP non stop in the 80's. used to drive my lass nuts.

  • @smitchix. Yes, this is the Ted Poley band named Prophet. He was replaced by Mike Sterlacci, whom you see in the video.

@mikolasa. Yes, they are from NJ :)

  • The band I was thinking of originally had a drummer named Phil Long, and they played a lot of progressive covers in Union County, and in Bergen County. They were extremely solid players, especially the drummer.

  • Were these guys orginally from NJ?

  • @mikolasa I don't think this is the Ted Poley band that was named Prophet....I was wondering that too. But that is not Ted on Drums, which is what he played for Prophet.

  • singer looks just like Paul Stanley! He should start a tribute band!

  • tremendous! this album was simply the best!

  • LOVE YOU RUSSEL!

  • Es muy cierto gran tema!!!!!!!!

  • He's a great Paul Stanley look-a-like ;-)

  • Desde luego que su mejor disco fue Cycle of the moon donde esta la inmortal Tomorrow never comes.

  • These guys were GREAT! Cycle was one of the best cd's ever! Yes that is Russel Arcara!

  • Man Russell can kick some ass, why is it some of the best bands and singers from the 80's got jack shit for their efforts and bands like Ratt were huge, such a joke..

  • These guys were our house band in the early 80`s, Ted Poley from Danger Danger was the drummer and Ken Dubman had to sneak in because he was only 17, they played every wed night

  • Is that Russel Arcara singing does anyone know.. I believe he was in a band called Surgin back in the 80's.. anybody else remember them

  • What's lame is badgtr1's life.

  • Hi smck, This singer is Russell Arcara.

    He came after Ted Poley

  • Cool, thanks for the clarification...thought it didn't really look like Ted..lol.

  • that guy is the spitting image of Paul Stanley

  • Great band, the album Cycle of the moon was a lightining in my musician youth....bei tempi...Good times of long hairs and little problems.

  • Awesome song....I love this...He has such a strong voice...and the lead rips....It just gives You a cool feeling to listen to this....YES!

  • Sound of a breaking heart !Wow!!!!awesome song

  • Awesome song!!! I love it. I have this on my iPod, along with other great songs by TNT, Signal, Danger Danger, and Bulletboys and many, many more. I love 80s Metal!!!

  • Oh ok. I didn't know that. Thank you. The slow song that sounds like Kansas on this CD is a phenomenal song! Think it's called "Tomorrow never comes". I HAVE to get this CD again!

  • This may be common knowlede, but the drummer is Ted Poley (lead singer of Danger Danger). I think their vocal tone is simialar also. Love this band!

  • Actually the drummer on this one is Michael Sterlacci. Ted was only on the first Prophet cd. He also sang a couple of songs on the first one.

  • RUSSELLLLLLLLL!!!!!

  • Great Band, brings back good memories.

  • Saw Prophet at Club Bene in Sayreville in 1988 Still remember the show

    Great, underated band.

  • This is a GREAT song. I remember seeing them at the Bound Brook Theater back in the late 80's with Kix and Jetboy. I believe Ted Poley of Danger Danger was their drummer at one time.
