  • sooo beautyfu...xxxxx

  • this is so funny! a lot of these shows are the same ones i go to, but the rings got converted into dressage rings:P

  • You look lovely together!

  • I have always wanted a horse. Someday....... Congratulations to both of you.

  • beatiful horse and beautiful riding!! what breed is he?

  • Wow that's amazing you make a really godd pair you and your horse it's fantastic I love your video and keep going !

  • 02:14 you can see how hard he tries for you :)

  • what breed is he?

  • that is one beautiful horse!

  • I think I'll need a few more lessons before I match that standard.

  • what a beauty :P

  • Is his Mother EM Electra?

  • @bettybryant Yep that she is his mother!

  • @EventDressageGirl We have his mother

  • Where you at Pony Club Nationals some of these pictures look like they are from there:)

  • @twinfools23 Umm i think most of these are from Morvan Park! I went to PC nationals with him in 2007 in Kentucky and i went in 2008 with my quadrille in virginia :)

  • Dressage has got to be the ultimate horse sport. These amazing rider and horses strive for something unattainable; perfection. I've tried dressage and I just can't get the hang of it. Congrats you guys!

  • @hale2horses11 thank you so much!! thats so sweet! and don't give up, dressage is a never ending learning expirince, i think thats what makes it so great! :)

  • i like the fact that you wear a helmet in the ring

  • @xNoKiddingx Thanks! Yeah i dont wear my top hat anymore, even with a shadbelly i wear my helmet, saftey first :)

  • Congratulations on your success! You two make an absolutely beautiful team. Very inspirational. :]

  • @sarahkatehanlon Thank you so much! thats mean alot :)

  • what kind of horse is he???

  • @Rachel7861 Hes a hanovarian

  • a Shadbelly and a snaffle bit?

  • @jeaninedressage Yea this was several years ago when i did a test ride for the CCI one star test for eventing, and your required to wear a shadbelly but you cant use a double haha its wierd. Its like riding a first level test in a shadbelly, feels akward! But as of this year it is actually legal to use a snaffle in FEI Dressage Tests unless its a CDI.

  • @EventDressageGirl It would be weird to ride in a frist level test with a shadbelly! :P

So you get to ride your horse, in Grand Prix, with a snaffle?

  • @jeaninedressage Yea aperently! I know ive seen several people in region one do it. I still normally use my double at shows, becuase he gets really strong with me at competetions sometimes! But i think the double is required for Junior/ Young Rider qualifiers, but im not positive. But if your just showing the test you can use a snaffle. =]

  • @EventDressageGirl

I personally like the double better. the snaffle just for young horses 3-6 then a double

  • @jeaninedressage yea i school in the snaffle becuase i like to know that i can use it one him, and then whenever i do use the double on him hes amazing in it. but shows and clinics i always use the double, pluss it looks more legit :) !

  • veryyyyyy cute! u can c the strong bond u guys have. .=) good riding.

  • I LOVE HIM!

  • :O He has such pretty movement!!!!! Nice job!!

  • i love your horse he is so amazing and pretty you're a great rider

  • beautiful horse! you have amazing riding skills

  • Beautiful animal! so graceful you two make a great team.

  • wow, well done, now i really want a hanovarian... is he good at jumping too? apparently there the worlds best jumpers... and looks like dressage horses too ;p

well done... but i must say, you were over bent in some of the photo's like at 2:15 but that was only some of the time... p.s. it can cause a dead tongue and neck problems... WELL DONE and keep it up :D

  • amazing :) keep up the good work! your horse and you remind me of a friend of mine! :) <3

  • are you riding prix st george with him?

  • he soooooooo beautiful

  • WOW when i first saw the pics I was thiking "ok, nice horse" but when he moves!!! WOW beautiful

  • He is Really PRETTYY:)

  • WOW great horse! What breed is he? :D Very good job!!

  • thanks!! hes awsome :) hes a hanovarian, hes actually Brentina's half brother.

  • i agree with you showjumperxo i got my horse for only 50 dollars and he is the best horse i have ever had he was saved me from a coyotte once. He got bit and we almost had to put him down but the day that the vet came he got up and he walked around and he acted fine so we watched him for a couple weeks and studied how he acted and he was fine.

  • how did you teach him to keep his head down?

  • well its really just relaxation, once hes relaxed through his back and if you ride your horse properly from to back to front and dont try to force anything there back and top line will relax and will build up the muscle to hold themselfs there. its really just leg! also lateral work usually helps them relax.

  • You don't teach your horse to do that

  • Wow, he certainly is gorgous! You guys look great together, he moves so well. Great riding!

  • omg ur so good!!!!!1 i a m only up to 1st level and still going fw. i

  • You are an amazing rider! And your horse looks beautiful..you two make a great pair :)

    DId you train him yourself?

  • thank you so much! Yea i pretty much trained him myself, my moms a big dressage rider but we fight so much when it comes to riding that i cant even get her help.

  • @EventDressageGirl I understand! Me and my mom are like that! haha

  • @EventDressageGirl nice riding.

I am also a Young Rider. (see my video called "Pacino")

I have learned to ride him like that in about 3 months!

  • @123Jorja123 See the description XD it says that she has worked hard on her horse, LOL

  • beautiful horse ... =)

  • that horse is ded georgouss... u rly suit it :D

    0:06 - 0:15 are all rly nice pics :D

  • where you modeling in a horse mag called ''horseshopper''?

  • and two winters ago i could get on her without her rearing and bolting and now we have shown through all the lower levels and are working on Pre ST George. So again PRICE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! no offense i just hate when ppl say tht horse is moroe expensive so its better NO. she does its all beautifullly, half pass, pirroutes, passage, all of it. so noo not at alll.

  • to angelkissedu; its not about how much the horse is worth at alll. i have four warmbloods imported from all over Europe that people alwas ask how they move with so much grace and extension & then I have my quater horse & the Dressage judges have asked if shes cross with WB at all and i say no and they are SHOCKED i bought her for 9000 and she moves better then my WBs tht cost bout 50-80k so its has nothing to do with price, its all about the work you put into them. She loves to flip over on ppl

  • Wow, you have a beautiful horse. In German we wear a cylinder at the level L (:

I think that looks better. I like the way you practise so hard to get higher an higher..My English isn't very well, i know ( i'm german ) but i hope you can understand..;)

    greets

  • thanks! hes great! haha and no i understand =] i dont know what a cylinder is though? And we used to live in germany i was born there and came back when i was 4but i forgot what all the levels were there! Isnt L level like 3rd level? may be higher... imm not sure!

  • 1:31 is my favorite picture :DD

  • haha thanks =] that would be my moms photography!

  • It's fantastic! Your horse is amazing! A very good rider! ;)

    glg

  • wow you guys look amazing! oh and I'm looking for a dressage saddle... what kind do you have? thanks!

  • what breed is he. How old are you. You dont look that old. mommy and daddy must really love you.

  • Im 15 now this vedio is when i was me 14 and under, hes a hanovarian he tries so hard! and i dont exactly have the best family life, just a great mom that helps me and i work really hard in my riding.

  • Congrats!

What a lovely horse and rider :)

This is the level I'm hoping to reach with my boy but I don't think he'll ever have the elevation and expression, he's just too lazy hahaha

    Any tips?

Well done again :) you really do deserve everything you've achieved!

  • aww thanks so much!! Well i must say is dont give up!! Some times determination is all you need there were so many times where i wanted to give up on this horse and now hes doing things i never thought he would be able to do. Just stick with it! As for expression and elivation that will come with collection and then you can use the energy ou created from the collection to ride him more up i hope that helps! and good luck to you im sure you can do it!

  • All your horses are gorgeous. What breeds are they?

  • thanks! well this one is a hanovarian, my event horse the gray one is a thouroughbred andalusion cross and the dark bay is an oldenberg

  • I was gonna comment something nice, but then I remembered that very mean and disrespectful comment you made on that girls video. So, nevermind.

  • omg i am so jelous i wish i was in that levle already i am just starting first levle with my arab. ur horse is so good at what he does.

  • wow, those are quite the achievements for a rider at your (and my) age! my instructor is 28 and just got her USDF silver medal. keep up the good work! your horse is gorgeous!

  • aww thanks so much!! Yea im working with another horse to try and get my silver now, maybe if im lucky ill have it by next spring!!!

  • Soooo cute.... He looks great.... Your a great rider too

  • beautiful!

  • YOUR HORSE IS GORGEOUS

  • Lovely horse. You ride well. Cheers.

  • Wow, very beautiful! Love it!!

  • WOW you guys look really good - your horse is gorgeous :)

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

I am going to my first sho (hopefully) with Little Big Man (the pony i ride) on the 29th!!!!

  • he is gorgeous! looks like your work is paying off :)

    xx

  • Wow your horse is stunning!

    You both look fab together!

I've never done dressage before and I've never realy been interested in it, but I've got a 2 and a half year old welsh cob x irish draught, but he's a realy nice mover, and if he pretends he can't do extended trot when i back him he's totally lying LOL

So I'd really like to do something like that with him, but i don't know much about dressage :P

But you two look gorgous, I'm deffietely going to give it a go one day!

  • Thank you so much! And yea you deff should give dressage a try someday! I hope all goes well with your horse young horse! and hahah its funny how you can tell when there lying to you. :)

  • Wow, good for you! I did the same at your age - worked with a horse up the levels over a period of years. A great experience. I wanted to go for YR championships but unfortunately I didn't own the horse and lost the ride once he was 'trained'. People whine about not having money for an expensive horse but few people seem to realize that with hard work you can do a lot with what you've got. You learn so much more from the work and training than you ever could being just given a made horse!

  • Omg thank you so much for this comment!! And im really sorry to hear to that about the horse you trained thats really to bad. And yea its crazzy that people think you can just get to higher levels with money, i think you get so much more out of it to from learning with your horse, like the partnership i have with him its just amazing i wouldnt ever want to give it up and i wouldnt trade him in for any other horse! Do you have a horse that you can ride now?

  • You are sooo right! We bought a 12 yr old jumper last febuary and in the summer 09 we are planning on trying for the fei junior team.

  • Omg really? thats awsome im gona try for the team this summer to! Let me know how things go for you :) and thats awsome that youve taken him from being a jumper to fei dressage!

  • Im so excited to make my freestyle for junoirs but right now i have my fei pony for sale and i have to sell her so i can afford to do quallifying shows.

    p.s are you in germany??

  • No i was born in germany and i lived there for four years and started riding while i was there. Now i live in Virginia Region 1. And yea i still have to make my jr freestyle and cant wait to do it! And thats to bad about the pony its crazzy how expensive everything is.

  • angelkissedu: same here sister!!

eventdressagegirl: did you train your horse yourself?? or did he come that way?? cause if he did i want to where you got him

  • I trained him myself, he wasnt expensive at all getting and when i got him he hadnt cantered in two years and exploded, alot. To get to where i am today has taken alot of hard work and determination.

  • uh wow you wanna come to my barn and help me?? india could use it!! (just started 1st level)

  • haha i would love to help but it took a while i did first level with him for two years then one year of 2nd and now 3rd and FEI JR's.

  • What breed is your horse. Gosh if my parents could buy me a expensive horse. I would be where you are today I am so jealous.

  • It's funny that you ride in dressage tails and helmet, maybe you should get dressage hat??? :) but I really like you horse

    good luck to you

    P.S.how old is he??

right now im started to do 3rd level with my horse :)

  • hahah yea i know it was a test ride for an International class at an event and my mom wouldnt let me wear the top hat since im only 14, usually i show in the short coat and my helmet. hes 13 and good luck to you at 3rd level!

  • Great horse! I hope to make it to the young rider one day. I am only doing second level right now and am now looking for a new horse. Great job though!

  • Thanks! Yea i really want to quallify for the Jr team next year and were going to work really hard on the tests this winter! Except if i did make the team im not sure if i will go considering its in colorado again and i heard there was alot of problems there this year. Such as riders fainting from the heat and horses getting sick.

  • Actually I know a person on the boar for NJ/YRC and I think its going to be in Ohio,

  • Really? that would be great becuase last i heard it was gona be in Colorado and then they were saying maybe virginia but ohio would be alot easier to get to than Colorado.

  • Oh very nice Video!

You ride well and you have a sweet horse ;)

Wgat is 3rd, 2nd etc. level?

I came from Germany, I don´t know what is is.

    It looks like "L Kandarre".

    Sincerely Rieke

  • Thanks! 3rd level is like M in Germany i only know this becuase we lived in germany for four years and my mom competed while we lived there so i just asked her =] 2nd level is probably like L, (not sure though) and idk what 1st level would be but its easier than 2nd and 3rd. I hope that helps!

  • would you be able to explain it in british terms lol? i kinda understand but would be nice to know!

i love your horse...want to get as far as that with mine =).

    XXXXX

  • haha sorry i only know the levels for the united states and germany!!! But i can tell you like what you do in each level! and thanks! I love him so much we've ben working so hard lately! If you work hard then you will get there! =]

  • Thanks! He's like my big teddy bear =]

  • He is so cute!

    Good Job!

  • He's an hanovarian =] and he's 16.2

  • What breed is he? How tall is he?
