God will not allow anyone to die while He still has a purpose for them. I almost died too. I severed an artery once and I almost bled to death. But God saved me. I'm now in my last semester at Bible College for counselling. I plan on and getting my masters and I'm going to become a therapist. My goal is to open up a self injury inpatient treatment facility here. I have a whole mental health ministry before me that's why God saved me.

All I ever wanted at the time was for some girl to love me, but when I was 21 Jesus showed me that he's loved me all along and can satisfy my desire to be loved like no one else can. It's wonderful to hear what God has done for you, I think you're beautiful inside and out, love you, God bless. :)

I'm watching this one first, before the one you said to watch first, but I had already started this one and didn't want to stop it. I'm listening to it now and praising the Lord for saving you from the overdose. I have had to take 2 ex's to the ER for the same reasons, they went through the same procedure, sometimes the stomach must be pumped, and understand it's a big ordeal. God saves and brings those into our life to help. I am glad you got/am getting help to carry forth. You have PURPOSE.
@MyOwnStickFigure Yes I do! I do have a purpose. And it's bigger than myself =] And I can't wait for everything in store for me, cuz there's more to this life and it's worth living. Trust me, I did not think it was... but throughout my healing process I am realizing that when you turn the light on inside, there is a better life to live.

I was suicidal when I was 12 and that's the closest I've ever come to actually going through with it. The only thing that stopped me was knowing that God put me here for a reason and that my life is a gift no matter how painful. It's what's keeping me here, now (and of course my family). God truly has His way of protecting us and watching over us. It's so amazing! Thank the Lord you're still here.
