  • i think we all agree that is better to play it on the ds

  • Why do we want to play it for Wii when we can just play it wherever we go?

  • I'll pass and wait for Prof Layton vs Ace Attorney

  • LOL Wright is objecting with the mote.

  • Nah, I honestly would like a new AA game for the DS, rather than the Wii...

  • "it was coming from the tv"

    OBJECTION

    "Blackout record"

  • @jjrruu91 EPIC FAIL XD

  • My life bar?! More like "mana bar", if it were me. If the Judge disapproves, then my mana bar depletes by a bit.

  • they really cut a part of the game out to add it as DLC.

what the fuck is wrong with video game companies these days...

  • Lol this was uploaded on my birthday =D

  • they should make a miles edgeworth investigations for the wii...

  • @castlevania8000 umm... Wiiware games are basically games that were classical in the old times, you can't blame them for that. Besides, it's not like everyone who has a wii, has a DS. If they're gonna make a new Phoenix Wright wii game, it would be made into a wii game instead of a wiiware application.

  • Why can't they just make a new Phoenix instead? It's quite boring if you already know who the killer is and what's gonna happen. Yeah, Phoenix's story has already ended, but can't they just make one with Mia or someone else? Just please don't make the same game, please...

  • nwo they should make a demo for us people who use ps3 XD

  • Thats pretty cool, all 3 games in total are 30 bucks instead of the DS games which probably costs like 20 each.

  • But it is the same of the DS isn't it ?

  • 5:00

the 5th case might be released as dlc in may for like a dollar

it was ALREADY IN THE FUCKING DS VERSION, WHY MAKE THEM PAY EVEN MORE?

  • OBJECTION!!

  • omg it looks hard :(

  • @GalaxyJazzGirl Actually its easy and fun as hell.

  • @nano69ify Are you sure that it's ez?

  • @GalaxyJazzGirl Yeah i mean the killer always appears in the murder, and you have evidence that the person is lying. Like time and location. Its really really fun.

  • it gets annoying when you accidentally shake the remote and it presents the wrong evidence, but you get used to it :)

  • This is also for iPhone and ipod touch

  • Looks pathetic in the wii, and I play with Snes and GBA emulators in my wii ...

Why they didn't made it on 3d graphic, voice acting and sell it in a DVD ?

  • @DanieleBosi Agreed

  • what kind of ripoff is the transfer of a DS version to a simple Wii version???

    is this a JOKE???

  • APOLLO SUX!

  • mr sahwit still looks weird! all shaking his hands and arms and shoulders...all happy... D:

  • Supposed to be just as fun as the original, just the problem is the graphics weren't sharpened at all, and look really blurry on a larger screen.

  • 3:58 Lol...How exaty you must do a thing like that with the Wiimote?

  • @sitien14 look at the bottom left corner at 4:07 bro.

  • So now this is a port of a port of a port.

    Wow

  • @90sHeroMAXD GBA-DS-Wii lol........

  • @90sHeroMAXD "Make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible"

  • @90sHeroMAXD PORTCEPTION!

  • @Ultimaman12 BWOOOOONG

  • @90sHeroMAXD Next they will port it to the Wii U lol.

  • @90sHeroMAXD And the next time, we'll see "a port of a port of a port of a port of a port..." *repeat "a port" to the infinity*

  • There is a wii mote in the crime scene

  • @nocodenull actually i think its just a phone

  • I would try to buy this but my Wii internet sucks... While my 360's internet is flawlessly fast. I wonder who actually has really-good-Wii Internet?

  • so, its a console remake of a DS game, but it does NOT have a whole level, so in the end we are only paying for the same game downgraded twice? the hell?

  • That's stupid how they changed the bar into Exclimation points.

Also i object to, making what was once free content, cost money.

  • @SgtSmilies the first game had exclamation points.....they didn't change it, they left it that way....the bar appeared in the second game

  • @SgtSmilies How was Phoenix Wright ever free content?

  • @wesleyis16

    The extra 5th case.

  • OBJECTION

the dude who is summarizing the game please go play it and tell us the TRUTH cuz thats wrong xD

  • What I think is really funny is how he keeps going on about "two screens" and "how are you going to port it from DS"? Don't think he actually understands that the DS is actually a PORT of a SINGLE SCREEN GBA GAME lmao so all they do is port the original GBA version to wii with some tweaks (as they did the PC version), oh Campcom kept that well hidden from you didnt they gamespot? :P

  • @djprosecution Capcom, not Campcon

  • HAHA in the end he says it was a voice in the television BUT THEY HAD A FRIKING BLACKOUT xDDD

  • I have the SAME GAME on my Ipod Touch

  • And most peoplpe dont realize...the DS game is already ported from the jap GBA game, plus the final one...so this game is ported from the GBA game, basically.

  • @soundlessMion The graphics are the DS ones though.

  • @guyboy625 ...Like I said, the DS graphics are ported from the GBA. There is no "DS graphics" for Phoenix Wright except for the last case in the first game, Rise From the Ashes.

  • Fail Gamespot. Butz is not why PW is an attorney. That would be Edgeworth.

  • This Is How I Started These Awesome Games, But It's Unfortunate They Didn't Have 'Apollo Justice' (Had To Buy It On DS)

  • THIS GAME IS HARD!!!!!!!

really i suck at attorney games lol

  • @mangoman In fact is not hard.... But I admit that there are some times that is all about trial and error.

  • If you want to present the evidence, you just swing the Wii Remote to do just that!

  • Comment removed

  • okay can somebody tell me why i can't buy this game on wilware? I searching Phoenix Wright and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney but it keep saying there isn't any call that please help I'm from Europa

  • @sungam3210

    from what country are you?

I live in Germany and the game is available at the Wii shop.

  • @TommyGuy1111 LAL I coming from Denmark xD

  • @sungam3210

Well, maybe they didn't release it in Denmark :/

  • OBJECTION!

  • Awesome

  • God, the second guy's voice is annoying.

Oh, and it's not 'bundle of evidence', it's the Court Record.

  • they didn't even update the graphics : / don't get me wrong it's great that you can play it one the wii but it's still the graphics from the original GBA game! They really should have been updated

  • SPOILERMIASPOILERSWASN'TSPOILERDESPOILERAD

    ?

  • His friend butts. (yes, I know he's Butz.)

  • OBJECTION! the game was originally made for gba in japan it was not that difficult

  • why are the acting like it's a whole new game??? it's just a fucking port!

  • Wow this guy is retarded. He knows absolutely nothing about PW series and as big a fan of the series as I am, I would know. I heard him say so many incorrect things about Phoenix in this video, it's not even funny.

  • I bought this for the Wii. ^-^

  • you made this game sound shit in fact you make it sound beyond awful just let the objections do the talking

  • loool the easiest case of all the phoenix wright games and he presents wrong evidence

  • 1) Take some old DS games and port it to the Wii.

    2) ???

    3) PROFIT!!

  • @eventzz Encyclopedia Dramatica, huh?

  • @HeinousActsZX No... just a South Park reference. I don't like ED. That site is just... you know.

  • I just wanna play phoenix again. Apollo annoys me.

    /preparestobelynched

  • @BeGrunge YES! I HATE HIM!

  • Swing the wii remote

    And hit the tv.

  • @Jimpiedepimpie and scream "OBJECTION"

  • I want a new case not the same case :-/

  • I actually wanted to play Phoenix Wright on wii but I wanted A NEW CASE!If it's an old case,I'd rather.......play it on NDS!!!DUHHH!!!

  • ya apollo jjustice should be on wii and a bort of ace attorney investigations that uses the nunchaku

  • The fans wanted a NEW phoenix wright game for the wii.

  • @JimmyNickNick Except the fact that he isn't an attorney anymore... He lost his badge in Apollo Justice...

  • @Lillen98765 True that. :/

  • @JimmyNickNick But me and some friend came to an conclusion that the Apollo Justice is in a parallel universe :) Phoenix didn't really lose his badge ;)

  • @JimmyNickNick im happy about it cuz i cant find any of the games for the ds and i started becoming a fan on 2009 so the wii helpded me find and play it

  • @JimmyNickNick Real,I want too

  • All you have to do is just download this on a ROM, no need to go to all the trouble of remaking a game pretty much. The only difference is, it's harder without the Wiimote.

  • ds version is kick ass,this...not so much

  • ok if you wanted the game on the Wii not voice act the game. It's fine that you have text game on the Ds not the wii. . Or make the game more motion sensitive. I know i think the first on Wii a bad idea all together, if they wanted they make a Phoenix Wright game they should made thier story and let tie together in the other games

  • @dragonheart333 Its not becuase they couldnt put voices on the DS version, because the japanese versions do, but its because they probably cant get anyone in japan to do the voice acting.

  • @JDC5656 What are you talking about? there in English VA in the DS game. if not than who the people who voice the "Objection" , "hold it" and "take that" in all the games

  • @dragonheart333 (double-facepalm) They are, but their conversations etc. are not!

  • @dragonheart333 which they are in japan!

  • @JDC5656 *sigh* I know the games are VA in japan I saying the english ones are are VAd as well, the pharse in are English not Japanese.

  • @dragonheart333 but just the phrases and nothing else, and getting back to the original point, it is possible on the DS!

  • Comment removed

  • should I buy the one for the DS or the Wii?

  • @kabakois

If I was you, i'd buy the iPhone app :P

If you don't have one, then my second choice would be to get an emulator...

  • I bought PW 2 and 3 on Wii because I couldn´t find the damn games on DS

  • @ConsoleWarSucks Can you use the pointer in the detective stages?

  • @FriarLawrence3 nope,you cant

  • @ConsoleWarSucks another way around for me man lol

  • IT'S A BIG VERSION OF THE GBA GAME

  • @LOLballz55

    NDS you mean. /facepalm

  • @59squares OBJECTION!

If it's a BIG VERSION OF THE DS VERSION, THEN....

    WHY NOT TWO SCREENS!?!?

  • @LOLballz55

    OBJECTION!

    LOOK AT THE TITLE SCREEN!,

IT SWITCHES SCREENS FOR THE DIFFERENT THINGS.

(btw, CHECK FOR GBA VER. I DARE YOU >:D)

  • @59squares OBJECTION!

THE GBA VERSION DOES THAT TOO!

  • @LOLballz55

    OBJECTION!

THEY SAID THAT IT WAS A PORT FROM DS.

EVERY OTHER MONTH GIVES A NEW ONE< WHICH ARE ALL DS.

    0:50 :D

  • @59squares OBJECTION!

So? Who cares if it's a port from DS? IT looks like the GBA version!

  • @LOLballz55 HOLD IT!

if it looks like the gba version , then why is the file size nearer to the ds?

  • They should have revamped the the graphics and music for the Wii, give it an advantage for getting the Wii version isntead of DS

  • Butz inspired Phoenix to become a Defense Attorney...

    OBJECTION

    (Pulls out game documents)

It clearly states here that it was MILES EDGEWORTH who defended him when

Phoenix was falsly accused of stealing Miles' $34.50 which it was Larry(Harry)

    Butz who stole it!!!!

What do u say about that?!!

  • @thatfunnyichigo OBJECTION!

Well look again, Mr. Payne! It was because of both of them helping Phoenix is what inspired him to become a lawyer!

Not only that, the case would never have had happened if it weren't for the acts of Larry Butz himself!

And the amount is also wrong, it was 38$ worth of Lunch money that was stolen from Miles!

    TAKE THAT!

  • Hold it! so P.R. on the wii! The big screen!!!

    Take That wii!!!!!!!yea!

OBJECTION!!! i want it on the ps3!

    what?! that info is irrealevant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OBJECTION!!

    iPhone port is only 4.99!

  • PW is awesome, but as soon as you force someone to sit in front of the tv to play through it, that kills it. It's excellent for long car trips and other places, but if you're home, and you have a wii, you'd really rather be doing something else.

  • It would be awesome if they made new cases available for DLC.

  • Pheonix: OBJECTION! so what you say in your testimony is "Pheonix Wright Game series SUCKS!"? Wittness: Y-yes. Judge i find the defandent Wii NOT GUILTY!

we will bring this game to the wiiware service in one month from this date and will be brought to alot of wii's

  • just play the iphone version for the new case

  • This "Remake" is a shit. Is better in NDS...

  • @ Bezilon youre right......its pretty much a direct port of the ds version

  • @BigIsBig453 IMO it's actually a direct port of the GBA version.

It merely has the translation of the English DS version and the DS music

  • Cool, buy it(GBA).... again(NDS), again(WII)again?(next nintendo console)

  • ...Darn, I didn't know T&T was coming out on Wiiware. Such a Payne (ah hah bad pun) to get on DS. But oh well, I can't wait another month or so. I need the game now, before I spoil myself xD

  • I played every ace attorney game on the ds

  • Ivé played the original Phoenix Wright and then ustice for all in my DS so I don't think I'm gonna get those 'cause they're EXACTLY the same versions just addapted to the Wiimote (nothing new) However I'll wait to the third one that I haven't played yet =)

  • @Metafaniel That is exactly my case. I've played all the games except Miles and Trials

  • How do you get this mission on the ds were your being tutored by mia

  • @spotroy It's the first case.

  • well actually, i would love to buy the 2nd and 3rd game on DS instead XD it was awesome on the wii, but i think it would just seem more fit if I got the DS versions. Maybe sometime after that, i can catch up and get the apollo and miles games too.

  • Well I originally tried this game on the emulator and got serious goosebumps through all the tiny bits and pieces. Everything is just so freakin AWESOME

It's really inspiring me to become a defense attorney ,of course it won't be as short or as epic as it is like in the games but an awesome feeling that makes you feel like you're in a war to protect the innocent.

I got this game on wiiware because it was WAY cheaper than the DS game and I plan on buying the 2nd and 3rd on wiiware as well.

  • I have all of the Ace attorney DS games out in English (just finished Investigations about a week ago), and this seems fun. I've already played the all of the games numerous times, so I don't think I'll be anything new for me though. I think new players will enjoy it a lot. Ace Attorney's a great game, DS or Wii or whatnot...

  • 2:24

Not true, it was because Edgeworth defended Phoenix as a little kid that Phoenix became a Defense Attorney

  • I think Butz defended him too though

  • Ooohhh :P I forgot xD

  • Huh? That's not true either

I thought Wright became a Defense Attorney just so he could get a chance to see Edgeworth, since the only way he could get in touch with Edgeworth was by meeting each other in court.

  • Since they're putting it on Wiiware, it'll make much more sense if they took the time and put up orchestral music, improve the sprites and so on. But they're just rushing it and transferring it straight onto the Wii from the DS.

  • i played the new ace attorney ds demo, i liked the game but not the controls, so would the Wiiware versions of this game be in my taste. also i know the new ace game isnt in wiiware.

  • VOICE ACTING! Do you even know how much dialogue is in the game? This series is not popular enough to afford something like that. I like the graphics, the music, and the dialogue because they look classic. Y'know all 8-bit, it kinda reminds me of my childhood. So I disagree with the fact of changing any of that, and if you wanted to yell objection, than you could do that and swing your hand to present evidence. It's a great remake, so don't bash it.

  • im getting this on the ds for my bday! cant wait

  • they should release a addong that you slip over your index finger that is used for the OBJECTION,s and HOLD IT,s

  • When does episode 5 come out for this?

  • There was no "body" to be found!

  • Epic music at 2:51

  • Mr. Sahwit. lol

  • "Butz was the reason that Wright became a lawyer in the first place" Wasn't that Edgeworth?!

  • It was both, during their childhood, but Edgeworth was the one who wanted to be a defense attorney, like his dad. I'd go on, but that would just spoil game one for anyone who hadn't played yet.

  • I know this series originated on the PC and Game Boy Advance, but I just can't imagine Ace Attorney games without 2 screens.

  • its easy you press select to switch to profiles and evidence

  • When we said we wanted a Phoenix Wright game for the Wii, we meant a new game, not a half-assed port.

  • This isnt exactly what I had in mind when I thought of Phoenix Wright on wii.

I was hoping for more animation, animated cutscenes of scenes of the murders for example. Being bale to point at evidence when search the crime scene etc.

In other words I want a phoenix wright game made for wii, not a port of a ds/gba game.

    Hey thats me though.

  • Well, I don't mind that it's a port, simply because it's on wiiware. However, I wouldn't buy a fullprice game of just a port. A nice sequel for the wii would be nice though. :D

  • downloaded it, since this is the only AA I didn't play yet and I didn't wanna search it for the DS.

but does anyone know why it says something like 'This content isn't available anymore for download' when I want to buy the fifth chapter ? Isn't it out yet on WiiWare, or do I need to finish it first ? ...

  • I guess it depends on where you're from. If you're from the U.S., I don't think episode 5 comes out until March 16.

  • already found out that it comes out in mid-May here in Europe... sucks

  • i dont see the court record

  • Noooooo~ I can't pay for Wii-ware games.....

I hope they don't come up with some "Wii Exclusive" case or something...

  • @MinnShii actually yes it comes out in may as DLC and its called Phoenix rise from the ashes

  • I can understand why a person who has played the Phoenix Wright games on DS would not be too impressed with this but for people like me who do not have a DS, it's really not that bad. In fact, this is making me consider getting a DS to play the rest of the series. But i do also agree that they could have improved it some to make it appeal to the older players too.

  • ... So, basically they're just promoting Phoenix Wright available for Nintendo consoles? And come on.... they should've at least added up bonuses or NEW MUSIC for the Wii version. I say it's not worth buying unless they throw in an extra tip for Wii users... :(

    And I personally played all of the series and stayed faithful to it. But I'm bound to get tired of the game if there are no new cases... -_-;

I'd rather stick to my DS, thank you very much. >_>

  • ... And I'd get really angry if they put in Investigations for the Wii too. I loved that game, I say no to wii version. -_-

  • I'm wondering, but there was a "Wi-Fi Pay to Play" mark in the description when I check the download section. Is this game Wi-Fi compatible? :\

Or was it supposed to be for the extra case in May?

  • Updated Graphics and stuff too. Maybe some voice acting. Not saying it would be perfect, but it would be pretty nice. I'd buy it, and i'm sure others would too.

  • First of all, I just want to thank Capcom for starting to get the idea that Ace Attorney would be awesome on Wii.

Next, Capcom should improve this to greater heights. No old cases. One package game (Maybe $20 bucks) and you get 3 brand new cases with apollo. For like maybe $9 or $10 you can buy constantly made DLC cases. The controls shouldn't have to fit to DS ones. Add some new investigation methods that would be easy with the Wiimote. Point somewhere on the screen to spray and find blood.

  • im sorry but what is the point the graphics are the same no new cases everything is the same when people said they wanted to see this on wii they meant a new game whats the point in your old fans buying something they already have that they can take on the go. For new fans perhaps it would be a gateway to the series but i dont think it will be. Oh and one last thing update us on gs 5 please!!!!

  • It's exactly the same as the ds ace attorney games... They could have improve the game with voices for the characters, better sprites and maybe even more cases to make the wii versions more marketable.

  • hmmm if Apollo hits WiiWare then Edgeworth should hit it too.

Then that should also mean that the new Ace Attorney Game would be on WiiWare too.

  • It's stupid that you pay 2AUS dollars for the fifth case.

  • @ Bwii: it's only 2 dollars, and you won't regret buying it because it's an awesome case

  • @JAMESGHOST Still it should come with also i have PW AA anyway...
