Gasol is not clutch at all, and the piston's bench is young, and probably deeper than the Lakers. The only matchup LA wins is rip v kobe. Other than that, detroit takes them all. The only team that can beat the best teams in the east for the ship this year, including the pistons, is the Houston Rockets. Lakers would not win a series against this years boston, or this years detroit. Lakers v Rockets & Boston v Detroit conference finals is my guess though. The Clippers are the sleeper team

Billups was out, McDyess was hurt, so I wasn't shedding tears over the outcome. I loved this game, despite losing it because we got to see our young guys play, and play well. It was actually their play that helped us surge in the game. With Billups out, Rip was trying to do too much and Flip Murray got pressured into the turnovers that won the game for the Lakers.
