  • I still have a gift candle from Gary and Graham's hot CD Release party at the White Eagle - the year before their Native American Music Award win.

What an incredible night of joyful, excellent music. Besides giving gifts, Gary also had respected locals open the evening with traditional drum. 100% Class act.

  • Graham is such a humble, unseen guy, probably shy to a fault. But as a drummer, it would be so great to see him do instructional videos on here like Steve Gadd and everyone else. I'm from his home town (still live there) and I know that his capabilities far outshine all the "monsters of drum" that we see on the web.

He just "works". That's all he does. Vanelli's "War Suite" takes out Carl Palmer in a heartbeat just for laughs.

I wish I had the $ to hire him away from Paul Anka.

  • I met Graham Lear back in '87 before a Santana show, he was standing outside the Omni hotel just waiting for the tour bus to take them to do a sound check. I got to talk and take photos and he actually got me in to watch the sound check! He didn't know me but, I mentioned I was a drummer also so he hooked me up. Carlos walked right by me as I was in the wings of stage right. Luckily I have some pictures or even my best friends wouldn't believe me. He is one of the best drummers of all time.

  • Very true.

  • Yat-a-hey Gary. Right On, you deserved to play @ The Nammy's!

Love from the Beaver Creek Saloon, Sheridan Wyoming! Where I have enjoyed many a performance & hopefully many more!

Keep on rockin' & singing those blues !

May the Great Spirit Bless You Always.

  • oh yeah, you got to love Gary Small and the Coyote Bros. I was at the Nammys that year and saw them live. These guys rock!

  • I seen you at the white eagle tavern in Portland Ore. Cant remember what year but I

had fun danceing with the ladys :) Brad Bird

  • neat.

  • Great, big sound from a 3-piece! Really solid musicianship, all the way around. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for the kind words. A young fan put this up on Youtube. I wouldn't begin to know how to do it.
