Another way to be quick in this game is to slide, then spin and then as soon as you have pressed the spin button jump. It's useful for keeping up speed when spinning crates.

It's also possible to get Platinum relics by this technique as I did it in Crash Bandicoot 3. Sometimes it crashes the game, aha. Bad times if you don't save.

you could easily get 30 seconds if you didnt jump so much if a jump slows you down by half a second and your jumping 6 7 times your loosing around 4 seconds

Your personal opinion on CTR doesn't make it less of a spinoff. It's a completely different concept. It doesn't mean it's a worse game, but it's a racing game based on crash bandicoot - spinoff :P

when you're on the ice, try sliding (d-pad + O) instead of just walking across it

for example right at the end.

kakashidude101: to get the bazooka, you must defeat the 4th boss. on the 1st is the tip toe power, the 2nd the double jump(which will come in handy quite a lot) the 3rd super spin and 5th crash dash which helps in relics.
