thats bullshit, when u re home handyman u might work on some ferrari, bmw, land cruiser or mb,so u need some very good tools,if u work on some big trucks or heavy ingenering i dont think so u need some extra acurate staff, also everything is big and u have a lot space work on.i work on trains and big diesels engine,so dont bullshit people about that.
IMO it does not get any better than Stahlwille combination (open/box) wrenches. Slim, easy handling and lifetime durable. Still have lots of Snap-On stuff but began to drift away as Snap-On aren't worth the extra cost for their "service" or as I call it, "hard sell." Anybody checked out Assenmacher Tool Sales ( asttool dot com ) ?
well, I don't think stahlwille or bahco are expensive at all, they're _very_ fairly priced imo.
Snap-on is the real rip-off. i'd take stahlwille over snap-on for most things apart from their impact wrench, which bosch probably do a great alternative that's much cheaper.
You get what you pay for in this world. Simple. Good tools cost alot of money. Simple.
For the home handyman, most cheap tools are fine. But if you are working in Oil Exploration, Mining or heavy engineering you need quality. Quality costs money.
Like i said, you get what you pay for in this world.
good tools for heavy equipment is gedore too.
